CoastaL living nifty ideas

During our last trip to the antique mall, we saw a lot of displays.  One that caught my eye was the coastal living section.  This antique mall also has vendors that carry new decor as well.  I thought I would share some of these nifty ideas.

This one was my favorite...they did some black and white photos and added shells to the jars...the women are in vintage bathing suits...how cool! What I love about this most is you can do it on a small budget....very NIFTY indeed!~

This you could even make yourself...easy I would say! How about some more coastal living ideas......

I love the color inspiration in here...and the shelf is a great idea.

I really love this color blue...and check out the sink, that is so cool!  Simple copper bucket is what it looks like to me.

Cool lamp shade...love the colors and the touch of whimsy!

If I were to have a coastal home, these examples arewhat I would love and choose. Of course my house would look like this on the outside, I love Spanish Mediterranean.

But you know me, by the time I was finished decorating the outside, it would look like this.

Have a great night everyone! Hope you found some coastal inspiration.

I love the pictures and the shells in the vintage jars, too. That is too funny that last house being what yours would look like. That is about what my bonus room is looking like.

We just got back from a trip to the beach and I am going to do the photo in the jar with all the shells and rocks my kids collected. Thanks for the idea! I knew I kept those mason jars for a reason...

That last photo was so funny, you have much more of a decorating knack than that. You're amazing with color, I think it's much easier to go all white (which isn't easy!) but being daring and throwing in color and making it look so good like you do is a real talent...something I could never do!!! Your decorating look is very Spanish:)

I LOVE this and your Video by the way! :-) I used to live in Hawaii (3 1/2 years) and Southern Californa for 3 years before that (many moons ago). I have tons of shells, etc. from those days. You gave me some great ideas! Thanks for sharing, Debbie! I learn so much from you every time I visit! :-)

HA! Debbie you crack me up with that last photo!!! I love the jars with the photos and shells. I did something like that with my kids photos in a dish. I filled it with sand and stuck black and white photos of them in it with some shells in front of them. LOVED IT!! Btw, I feel like I haven't talked to you in FOREVER even though it really has only been a couple days. I've missed so much this last week, it's hard to catch up!!

Deb,
I know this person unfriended me because, she is my first cousin. And she unfriended her two sisters and her Mom at the same time. I went to her FB page to retort to her crazy email she sent me and I was not her friend. Shocked and amused, I was forced to write an open letter in hopes she would understand she needed a good tongue-lashing.

Oh Debbie, I just love the jars with the old pictures of the women in bathsuits. In fact I'm feeling this whole theme of "Coastal Living". This is a great way for me to lighten up my home for the summer - seashells and pale blues. Okay now you've got my creative jucies following...thanks.

My coastal living smells like gas right now :(

I love that beach look, we have the beach house all decked out in it. If it was practical everything would be white with pale wood. Love it.
