Holiday dinette
I really kept it simple this year in our dining area. Last year I was cleaning up snowflake glitter, and scraping hot glue off the windows for months so it seemed. This year, I found a pretty large wreath at Target, added some more embellishments to it. I hung a few holiday plates around, blinged up the chande just a tad, and that be it for the dinette.
This was my most recent score from Garden ridge. This is a major upgrade from my wire rack! |

Hey, HEY, hey (said like Ree Run). Girl, you're rockin' the Christmas kitchen! I love all of your embellishments ... the beautiful wreath on your window ... the reindeer and snowflakes hanging from your chandie, and even your rooster lamp getting dressed for the season! So fun. And, BTW, you are the Picnik *Queen* ... that website is addictive! Happy Holidays, Becca
And, PS: thanks for stopping by and leaving such a sweet note about my Christmas dining room. Becca xo
Wonderful, I am trying to scale it down too! Wait we bought two tree last night instead of one. Crap!
The wreath and tureen are just fabulous. I know about Picnik Playtime. Joe bought that for me and my domain name for Christmas..wasn't that a sweet gift for a blogger? You can bake just try it! ♥O
Great picture! I have the same Fa La La towel! It always makes me smile when unpacking the Christmas decorations! Your picture are great, especially love the close up of the wreath!

Very pretty! I love the holly around the light and it goes so well with the wreath too! I also really like your new cabinet, it goes well with the other one you have in that room. What is Garden Ridge? I have really got to check out this Picnik!
Your dining area looks wonderful! Even though you kept it simple, I can still see all the little touches here & there that make it look festive.
Debbie,
It's all so beautiful! So festive and bright. I wanna come over!!!
Great score at Garden Ridge. I was just pouting about not being able to get there YET this season. Your photographs are great! I love how creative you get with them :D
What a cozy and pretty room you've created! I'm sure your family loves you for it. I would like to sit down at that table, have a cup of coffee and stare out at the scenery.

Your dinning area looks fabulous, and I have cut down on decoration this year too.
Beautiful!!! Love it! I love that wreath there in the window! Now get those treats made for Bunco!!
Deb- I know what you mean about cleaning up glitter! I am doing it as we speak. Wait, I'm typing and taking a break from all the mess.... LOL Love the big wreath in the window and your new chest in the corner. All is so festively Christmas! I decided to cut back significantly this year after I was making such little headway after almost two weeks. Maybe next year I'll start at the beginning of November. Hee hee...
Fa la la la la........ ♥ Sue
I love the reindeer hanging from the chandelier! Looks like they are galloping in the air! The pictures are great!

Good morning my Sweet yound friend...Girl you once again out did yourself...I really liked the way you did the plates with the frame now that one I know I will steal or I mean borrow from you ha ha!!
And girl I had to laugh about the glitter...last year I made a tree topper for my grand daughter Candace and Len asked me if that was ours new floor dust...I kid you not it looked like a Disco from the 70's for about 6 months and I'm still finding glitter ha ha!! Never again...
I hope all is well in your world my Dear friend...Thanks for coming by...I only post once a week now...I think I lost my MoJO girl...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Hello Debbie,
I just finished catching up on your most recent posts. Your home looks great all decked out for Christmas! Every time you post a picture of your dining room my heart does a little flip when I see that rooster picture! I know I have told you before, but I will tell you again... I love it! While in Maine I tried to convince my Aunt to let me have her rooster lamp, but she would not part with it darn it! I love the large wreath in your window and how you decorated your chandelier. I had to chuckle at your no bake cookie adventure!

Hi Debbie,
LOVE your header, it's so cute with all the hats.
I just love the look and feel of your house, it absolutely looks festive, I'm so behind on decorating for the Holidays but you sure have inspired me.
Deb! I have been looking at those photographs for 10 minutes now. Your home is like a beautiful resort to me. It looks like the kind of place I'd want to go to when I take a vacation and want to be treated like a princess!
I am actually ETERNALLY jealous of how you make it look so simple to decorate/redesign and still keep things spic and span. I don't understand it at all. If I could, I would throw out all the furniture from my house just to keep it dust-free! :D :D
Today, I'm going to give you a "beautiful home" award with this comment, just like that. You're genuinely AWESOME! BIG FAT HUG. Your blog makes me happppppppppppy. Muah!
This is my first visit, I saw you on Tablescapes by Diane's blog roll. Your dining room is just lovely, I love the elegance of your tasteful decorations! It looks like a beautiful place to dine! If you'd like to visit me in New England, I love company and new Followers are always welcome.

So very beautiful Debbie!
It looks very pretty. I know what you mean about the messy stuff. I was going to buy the spray snow for my windows and then I knew I would regret it in January. I like your Picnik'd photos, although the pencil drawing one is sort of different.
Just the right amount of decorations, Debbie! I love all these little touches and your wreath is gorgeous!
