Holiday dinette

I really kept it simple this year in our dining area.  Last year I was cleaning up snowflake glitter, and scraping hot glue off the windows for months so it seemed. This year, I found a pretty large wreath at Target, added some more embellishments to it. I hung a few holiday plates around, blinged up the chande just a tad, and that be it for the dinette.

This was my most recent score from Garden ridge. This is a major upgrade from my wire rack!

Hey, HEY, hey (said like Ree Run). Girl, you're rockin' the Christmas kitchen! I love all of your embellishments ... the beautiful wreath on your window ... the reindeer and snowflakes hanging from your chandie, and even your rooster lamp getting dressed for the season! So fun. And, BTW, you are the Picnik *Queen* ... that website is addictive! Happy Holidays, Becca

Hello Debbie,

I just finished catching up on your most recent posts. Your home looks great all decked out for Christmas! Every time you post a picture of your dining room my heart does a little flip when I see that rooster picture! I know I have told you before, but I will tell you again... I love it! While in Maine I tried to convince my Aunt to let me have her rooster lamp, but she would not part with it darn it! I love the large wreath in your window and how you decorated your chandelier. I had to chuckle at your no bake cookie adventure!

Deb! I have been looking at those photographs for 10 minutes now. Your home is like a beautiful resort to me. It looks like the kind of place I'd want to go to when I take a vacation and want to be treated like a princess!

I am actually ETERNALLY jealous of how you make it look so simple to decorate/redesign and still keep things spic and span. I don't understand it at all. If I could, I would throw out all the furniture from my house just to keep it dust-free! :D :D

Today, I'm going to give you a "beautiful home" award with this comment, just like that. You're genuinely AWESOME! BIG FAT HUG. Your blog makes me happppppppppppy. Muah!
