Playdate with my new camera

Today was so beautiful I decided to go outside and snap a few pictures with my new camera.  I did not get many as I got sidetracked quickly....what else is new?
I did manage to get my son Alex in a great mood today and he was a willing participant, not for long though!
Not bragging or anything, but the texting hotline for my son is ridiculous with the girls! He looks so serious!

THis picture I stood in front of my house, it is a shot all the way down the end of the block

This is some of the neighbors landscape, I like this bush or plant or whatever you call it.

My Jack after a very long day at the skate park..just kinda zoning.

Some are happy, some are sad!

THis is way deep into the woods, look at the branches, and see the cool squirrel's nest?
And oh me oh my look what us South Carolinians woke up to this morning! It is absolutely beautiful!

Every kid must eat snow at least once! I told Jack I sure hope there was no doggie pee pee on it....

I  hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas.  Hard to believe all the hustle and bustle and baking and wrapping is all gone now.  Have a wonderful day all, I can tell you we will for sure!
For those of you who have asked me what kind of camera Mike bought me:
It is The Panasonic LUMIX
Fz35 18X Optical zoom.

My husband researches things to death before he make a purchase.  For the money and all the outstanding reviews, I can see why he chose this camera for me.  I love it, and have a lot to learn, but so far it has been  a  great camera to work with. Without the MEGA pricetag, it has all the bells and whistles I can want before leaping into a really expensive one.

Debbie- Well, your pictures are great but your sons are absolutely beautiful (and I KNOW THEY don't want to hear that)! Your oldest son is a heartbreaker for sure...and the little one? Following right in the footsteps...cuz he is gorgeous too.

Glad you had a snowy Christmas-you must have felt like you woke up in a fairy-tale! GREAT PHOTOS- I need to look at getting a better camera one of these days...of course in my case, it is not so much the CAMERA as it is the OPERATOR!

Hugs- Happy Holiday! Diana

Great shots. Have fun playing with your new tool/toy. (Work should be fun.)

Here in northern WI snow was predicted but has passed me over.
We had enough last week to satisfy me for a while. Stay safe.

Nice pics...jealous, I am of your new camera! What wonderful photos! Question--the first one of your son--is that a camera sepia effect or is that photo editing software? I've just never seen such a great digitally processed sepia before.

Merry Christmas! I love all the decor! That blue tablecloth is fun...I just watched the German Week episode of Are You Being Served, so it made me giggle thinking of that! So glad I stopped by!

Much better photos Deb! Especially without all the extra editing to them. Less is more!

I have a Lumix too... although I had gotten it three years ago - May be time to update it this year. For the past year, just been shooting with my cell phone...

Best wishes to you and your family for all good things to come your way for the upcoming NEW year!!
