This is an older post I am sharing with the
Graphics fairy Brag monday party.
I had this pretty tray in our bedroom for sometime now. I bought it at World market on clearance for 10.00.

I had this pretty tray in our bedroom for sometime now. I bought it at World market on clearance for 10.00.
It started to look BORING...
so I fixed her up..
First I spray painted in Olive, by Krylon, t
hen I took some simple gold metallic craft paint and applied it with a paper towel, and wiped and rubbed in evenly.

Took some sand paper and sanded the edges..I let the natural color come through as well, for that aged chippy look

You know I love anything with fleur de lis, Happy Mardi Gras, this Tuesday is Fat Tuesday.

Very creative use of the paper! I usually just slap it everywhere. And very appropriate with Mardi Gras almost here!

I agree with Lori, I got a hankering for anything with fleur de lis and "ROOSTERS".Debbie you got me hooked on the rooster thingy, and I love it, I've got a project I'm working on but first go check out my winnings.

Love your new tray! We were supposed to have a bunch of rain today, but it ended up sunny and 73 degrees! It was windy, but you can't beat that! I have to say though I was sort of looking forward to a dreary rainy day. It was the perfect excuse to snuggle on the couch and watch movies!

Your tray looks so good, you always get your mod podge so even. Mine always has bubbles then I usually overdo trying to flatten them out and rip the paper...very frustrating ordeal!
I'm glad you like all my little cherubs:) My husband is such a lovebug to tolerate all these nicknacks!
