DIY burlap coasters, giveaway, and NEWBIE party started!

Hope ya'll are not tired of my burlap projects.
I swear these sacks I have are never ending. I love em' and can't come up with enough projects for them. Let me show you real quick what I have done so far...

This was my first project...

Then from there I made my lampshade from left over scraps...
Mod podged on.

Still some scaps left, so
I decided to mod podge and burlap the top of this mini trunk..

I still have scraps left so today I decided just one more small project....

I had these coaster for sometime now.  They never were my style.
Today I used some cork board to cover the top..
I hot glued the cork on top of the original coaster.

I then cut the squares to size and mod podged the burlap on the cork.

How easy was that?

They now sit on our coffee table and if in need of a coaster...

WHA LA!

I have two bags left that I would love for one of my followers/friends to have.
If you are interested just leave me a comment and I will throw your name in the hat.

Awesome lettering in a nice shade of blue, and the other rice bag is blue with a pretty shade of green.
that is my favorite one actually.

As you can see these bags are quite large, and the possibilities are endless.
Hope I inspired some of your creative juices.

NOW onto the newbie party.

GUIDELINES:
Blogging 6 months or less and/or less than 100 followers.
Please join in as a new friend.
Please add my link or button to your post.
I would appreciate you turning off Word verification as well.
Not needed and it is a real comment deterrent on your blog.
If you see your post is removed that is because you DID NOT follow my guidelines.
I prefer the link in the post, but if you have my button on your sidebar that is fine by me too.

I will announce the winner next Monday at the newbie party.

That rice bag is gorgeous! The colors are great and I would LOVE to have my name put in the hat for a chance to win!! I just scored two huge coffee bags and am throwing around a couple of ideas of what I should do with them. Love all the things you've been making with your burlap. Curious, are the stools scratchy to sit on or does washing make it softer? I'm worried the burlap will fall apart when I wash it. Does it?
