Great makeover of the desk. I have the same handles in green. I also have spent the last 2 days making a new desk and organizing my office. Great minds think alike. LOL

Looks great, Debbie, and I know it must feel good having your closets organized. Putting things in order is like therapy for me!
I love a desk in front of a window. It makes you feel so much a part of a beautiful day and the great outdoors.
Love it! You must live in your paint clothes! I'm hoping to get a couple of projects actually finished now that school is finally starting. Thanks for sharing.

Love the way you repainted the desk. It looks fabulous!! I think I am the only one who hasn't used the Chalk Paint. I need to find something to try it out on soon. I am inspired by all the great projects I have seen! :-)

ps i love the knobs too:)
Wow, very cool Debbie, just love those knobs too...I've been on a break too, but mine is packing up stuff to take home from the farmhouse and I only have 3 days left...taking most everything home since we only spend 2 weeks a year here..leaving all the roosters though!
What a nice makeover with such cute little knobs! And congrats on clean closets--something I don't have.
Your title is catchy and you may get some extra traffic from it! A couple of weeks ago when I did a post of porch swings I entitle it "Swinging". Then I started to notice a referrel site showing up that I didn't recognize. It was an "alternative lifestyle" site!!
Which reminds me, my little geckos multiply like crazy & I have pictures of them (call me a voyeur)and they are so cute. I've thought about posting them with a title that included X-Rated pictures. Maybe that would be asking for it. (Sometimes I digress!)
I love how the desk turned out...much better location too! I am tackling some closets this week too. Have a great day!

The new color on the desk looks fabulous Debbie! You did a great job on it. Love it in front of the window!

I have a closet that needs cleaning out. Sadly, I've been saying that all summer. I'm thinking now that maybe it's a better cold weather project!!
I love the shade you created with the AS paint. I have got to get some! I'm waiting on the Pure White to come out. I'm not sure how different it will be from the old white. Does the Old White have a lot of yellow in it?
It looks awesome.
Debbie,
Ditto on all the great comments about the desk re-do! The color turned out great and the desk in front of the window makes a nice vignette in the room.
I'm very drawn to the fabric in the drapes that now frames the desk. Did you make the drapes? If so, do you recall the name of the fabric / where purchased? If you purchased the drapes, details if you recall.
Thanks
Robin

I might sound like a broken record, but Debbie, you're amazing at whatever you do. You should have your own TV show at HGTV!
I love the new look of your desk.
This looks fabulous! What a wonderful transformation!
The desk looks great, don't you just love reworking things that you already have! And 2 clean closets! I wish I had one clean closet! LOL
Debbie
Lovely ideas for my home. Love it, thanks for sharing
I absolutely LOVE what you did to the writing desk. It's wonderful. I like it just as much that you cleaned two closets. I'm all about the closet purge!
