Embellished lampshades, how I love thee!
I don't mind busy, but this was too much for me.
I cut a few circles, folded them in half, made a little stitch at the fold and added (hot glued) a cute button.
Then I just randomly hot glued them to the shade.
Like my cute little travel clock?
Scored that for $3.00 at a Garage sale...
Wish I would have bought all three that were for sale, they are pretty cute!
OOPS I see a hanging thread, I must go trim that now...
Here is how the desk looks now..with the other lamp on it...
My No. 1 chair is also a score from a local boutique selling second hand decor.
You know if the magic eight ball says...
Then that is the way it is staying!
Hope to see you cool cats starting tomorrow sometime for my Magazine copy cat challenge.

Those burlap flowers are adorable!!
Your little burlap flowers are an adorable embellishment for your lamp shade!
I love the burlap flowers and the buttons. I had a travel alarm clock like that, back in the day. Oh, I also am drooling over that owl. I used to collect them. hehehe
Love it Debbie! That looks fantastic and perfect for Fall...or any season! :-)
Vanessa
Both lamps shades are very cute, I like all the bling on the first one thought. I think I am just a gaudy girl:) Great desk.
Love the burlap flowers. I also love the switcheroo. It all looks great.

Love the desk color and your lamp is adorable.
I like the burlap flower lamp in the guest room, but I LOVE the other lamp on your desk! I think it really makes the whole room look better (or at least the part I can see!).
Love the flowers...they look very fall~like!
XO,

Love the embellished shade Debbie.
Believe it or not I had a brainstorm this afternoon and found a picture to copy. Voila! I have a post for Magazine Copycat. Was fun putting it together.
I must say that I think the little button flowers on the shade are too, too cute. I will do that to a lamp, just you wait! I love it!!! I agree with Miss Teresa that they are definitely Anthropologie-like. I stalk Anthropologie!!!
That is a really cute lamp. Love your burlap flowers.
Love those lampshade transformations! I've done one of my own, before, but it was very simple by just adding some ribbon at the bottom of the shade. Those fancy lampshades can cost a fortune at the stores, so you saved yourself alot of money by doing it yourself!
That is so cute Debbie, I love it! You're so talented:)
The last few times I've come to your blog I get a weird pop up thing that says something like Katillacshack and asks me to sign in. I just close it but has anyone else mentioned this or is it just moi???
Love your lamps and that shade with the flowers is too cute. I cracked up at your comment at the picket fence!
No Victoria, no one has mentioned that weird occurrence...always something strange happening out here LOL. Thanks ladies!
Love your little flowers, tooo cute!
Sandy
very cute :) and I love the little owl... where in the world did you find him?
I love the one with all of the hanging shells. Of course I like the other one too with the hanging thread!
Carol
So cute Debbie!
Love the transformation.
Looks great with your owl!
First I do not like your travel clock. I LOVE you travel clock. The lampshades are darling, too.
Oh and I just got the weird pop up.
I love the burlap accents on your lamp. How very creative! Usually I just add trim or flowers to my lamps to dress them up, but I like your special touch.
Loving your magic 8 ball. Someone at my college internship at the public relations dept. at my college had one of those. We spent many days that summer asking that thing the oddest questions.
so cute now it looks so good with the draps oh and i love the cute burlap flowers:)
ps just read what victiora said and the same dang thing happens to me
Love the lamp shade, Debbie. Very cute!...Christine
