Cutting edge stencil ceiling medallion! {my personal review}

I cannot tell you how very happy I was to receive my new cutting edge stencil in the mail.
Did not take me long to get right into it. I had to wait until my husband was around, because I certainly needed his help getting the stencil up on the ceiling.

This is what I chose....
The Georgian

The Georgian Ceiling Medallion Stencil
I decided I would as shown here, use all one color.
I used the color Antique copper craft paint.

                                                                              {Evening shot}

I have two of these lights in our loft area, better known as my blog and blab area.
I have been in the process of revamping a few things up here..which I will show you soon.
For the record, this is what it looks like now.

Funny, the vacuum is always out, what do I think I am going to vacuum around this mess? Weird, I know I am!

I have been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing.  One thing I have learned about myself, is when things are not complete, or in order, I lose sleep over it.  Seriously, I do, and it seems to be getting worse as I age.

This was NOT a difficult project by any means.  Just a little hard looking up at times, but the process of rolling and drying time was fast.
Nice thing about this medallion is it comes in a half sheet.
So you do one side first, then remove, and do the other side.

This decor on top you see is nothing new, just rearranged and in new places.
The candles came from Z-gallery as did the vintage looking box.
Picture frame was a gift, and the orange flowers are from Pier I.
The wooden piece with the flowers behind my desk is also from Pier I, and I scored that for $25.00 a few years back.
It was  steal.

Once the rest of my blogs and blabs area is complete you will see a better picture of it all.

If you are considering any stencil jobs in the near future, I would highly recommend cutting edge stencils.
High quality and very easy to work with.
I was  given this stencil for hosting my giveaway.
{ review and opinion is my very own.}

Stenciled burlap pillow {$50.00 Cutting edge Stencil giveaway}

Happy Friday!
This was a simple stencil project, I thought I would share real fast!
After all, stenciling is such an easy inexpensive way to transform, a room, a pillow, furniture, you name it, it can be stenciled!

What a steal! But what am I going to do with another stinkin pillow?
In the cart it goes...what will happen nobody including me even knows.

Geez, how easy is this to take a plain ole pillow and pizazz it up.

Looks good!

Stenciling on fabric is a real cinch, I have mentioned that before, but I will tell you that again, just in case you are hesitant.

How about a sneak peek at something else in the room, NEW!

It was deal too good to pass up.
I went back to the Homearama event and they were selling all the furnishings and accessories in the model homes.
SCORE! Show you that sometime later on.

Newbie party highlighted features {Stencil giveaway}

Good afternoon ladies!
Another fine week at the party.
I am meeting so many new bloggers, and the old crew is moving on.
Sad, but happy for them.
Here are a few highlighted newbies that stood out to me.

First time to the party...

Jessie, has a lovely blog and a lovely touch indeed.

Next, meet the lovely and ever so talented
I met Shannon eon's ago through RMS, I encouraged her long ago to start a blog,
and she finally did!

Shannon will not disappoint.  She is funny too, very energetic and a positive friendly gal!

Next is Zuni!

Zuni's table was a real inspiration.
I am doing Thanksgiving this year as always and really want to set a pretty table

Last feature is Alyssa!

How about these awesome napkin pillows!

Inspired by Pottery barn, and of course done on a dime!

Great party!

ATTENTION:
THERE will be NO Newbie party next Monday.
In lieu of the party will be a magazine copy cat challenge and you may see the info on my sidebar.

Thanks for all your support.
If I blabbed about you, feel free to grab a blab button, also on my sidebar.

Counter stools { Painted & stenciled} $50.00 stencil giveaway too!~

I think for the next week or so you will see some more stenciling projects over here.

After all I am hosting a giveaway, and I may as well show you how easy and how much fun stenciling truly is.
You remember some time back, the Rooster stools?

I redid these Last January.  They were super cute, and I really enjoyed them.
However, change is apparent around here, and it was time to freshen them up.
Good thing about painting and stenciling projects, is you can always redo them.

I used an antique white for the top, and a pretty spruce green for the legs.
I thought Christmas is coming and I love to change up per season, and I do believe these will go lovely with my Christmas decor.

I also used a dark wax, then distressed them.  As you can see a little of the red is peeking through.

Y'all know we are the foodie family, so why not declare that..
"To live well, is to eat well" Cheers to that my friends!
A little more plain than the first time around, but I have so much going on around me, sometimes plain is good!

Thanks for stopping by!
Always appreciate your kind visits and comments.

{so many options}

pillow stencils
I recently showed you all my fun projects that I have created this past year using some very generic stencils.
Imagine what you can do with a custom, fine quality design of your own.
There are so many to choose from, and the patterns are all unique.
Some of you may have never even used a stencil, and that is OK.
They are very simple and user friendly and I have added a video for your review. Here is a user friendly HOW to....
Here is what they have to say:
Our reusable wall stencils are  easy to use,  amazingly cost effective and in so many ways better than wallpaper or vinyl decals! Stencils are an emerging hot decorating trend that is getting more and more popular as DIY decorators discover the ease and versatility of stenciling. Creatinggorgeous rooms with simple wall stencils is easier and faster than you think, and even beginners get great results.   With so many designs to choose from, we've got stencils for any room in your house.  Our wall stencils are created by professional faux finishers and decorators Greg Swisher and Janna Makaeva. We would love to share our passion and expertise in wall decorating with you!...
