Thrift store table second time around! {decorating with roosters}

Nothing better than buying something from a thrift store and giving it new life.
I love thrift, I love roosters! So let's see what we can do the second time around!
I tend to give thrift store pieces 2nd and 3rd lives!
Hey, their cheap and their fun to makeover.
You may recall this table, from long ago!

Initially I had spray painted it and mod podged graphics from the graphic fairy.

This piece wound up on our back porch area and it was exposed to sun and rain, which in turn ruined all the mod podge work I had done.
SOOOOOO...

With a lot of scraping, cursing, and sweat, I finally removed all the old Mod podge.

Did you know they make outdoor mod podge?
Well, I will give it try for this next project for sure.

Spied this cute graphic from the graphics fairy, and just had to have it.

I had a drop of Arles ASCP, so I watered it down some and spread the love.

Found these cute gourds in a bag at Walmart.  I even used the netting they came in to fill my little buckets.

Roo had a little makeover as well. I spray painted him with a metallic copper and black spray paint.
The pumpkin got a little spray too.

Have I gone overboard with the burlap?

I add a dash here and there and everywhere these days!

Had to have a something on there word wise...

And that is the story of the thrift table second time around!

I had to keep scrolling back up to see the before, love the changes! Burlap is the new black, you can never use enough of it! I also redo thrifty finds, they make the best makeovers and you're never afraid that you've ruined an expensive piece! Debbie
