DIY Halloween artwork {mod podge and graphics fairy} {Newbie party too}

When I tell you this Halloween DIY art work took me all of 15 minutes, that would be the truth of the matter!
My attention span is very small, so I like quickies!
You can take that any way you would like!
Anyhow, I am moving onto Halloween now, and thought I would change up my kitchen vignette.
How many times do you have to see this corner of my kitchen you are asking?
Well at least it is different each time and you can view the many art work changes

Have you ever done a project that was so easy, you started to think, how can this even look that good?
That is what I was thinking while doing this.
I tell you, I was the worlds worst crafter until I started blogging and getting more experience and inspiration.
Grant you, I am still not great by no means, but I have come pretty far.

Let me give you a quick tutorial on how I did this.
FIRST:  I found my graphic from the Graphic's fairy.
I burned the edges of the graphic with a lighter, over the sink, made a mess, cleaned up, moved on....
I had this large white canvas sheet that I have used for photo backdrops.
I paid a 1.99 for it at hobby lobby.

I measured it out per my frame and used an exacto knife to cut the board.
I then took my craft paints, first the penny color and wiped it all over with a paper towel.
I then used the black on top and rubbed it all in.
There was my backdrop for the art work.

I lightly sanded the board as well.
I took my graphic and mod podged it on the board.

Embellished with some bats and spiders.....

I had everything on hand once again.  This project was a lot of fun, and very, very simple!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day here today!
Enjoy yours, make it great one!
XO
