I LOVE Savannah! It's my favorite weekend destination. I love how you can park your car in the hotel parking lot and not use it the entire weekend because you walk everywhere. There are so many good restaurants in Savannah. Glad you got to meet Ginger!
How lovely, Debbie! Looks like you had a lovely time and the food looks divine! Plus, got to love and take full advantage of an all you can eat buffet!
Liesl :)
We were just there in October -- I think Savannah is one of the loveliest cities I've ever seen! I have some amazing pics of the moss too -- it's stunning! Glad you're having a fun getaway!
Glad you had a good time. I wish I could try Paula's food. When I watch her on TV, I start drooling!! Have a good Thanksgiving.
I did a girl's trip to Savannah with my college friends back in June...we had a wonderful time too.
Aren't the "squares" downtown just beautiful? Happy Thanksgiving!
wow, great photos, what fun to be at Paula Dean's, great photo of you and your mum and blogging buddy.I love her blog too!
WOW! How great! And look how sweet you look and beautiful these two ladies are! I love Savannah Granny...she and I have made friends already! And guess what...I'm reading Savannah Blues right now! If you haven't read it yet, you'll want to when you get back! It's a FUN read! Enjoy your week! ♥♥♥
How fun Debbie!!! I've always wanted to go to Savannah. That food looks amazing so go ahead and stuff yourself...that's what the holidays are for:) We've got the New Year to worry about our svelte figures:)
Happy almost Turkey Day my friend!!!
Oh how fun. I have never been to Savannah, but so on my bucket list. I wish I had your lunch, it just looks fabulous. I am with your son, the moss trees are unreal. So glad you got to meet a fellow blogger also. Great fun. Enjoy. Hugs, Marty
It looks like you are having a ball, Debbie! The food looks great!
XO,
Jane
Fun fun. Good picture of y'all. We have eaten there twice. Way too much food, but so good.
Awesome Debbie! I hope you enjoy Savannah. I live here, and the weather is beautiful this week! Lots of thrifting to be done downtown and midtown; maybe I'll bump into you there :)

I bet the weather was splendid; it was gorgeous here today. I am wondering how long you had to wait to eat at Paula's?
What fun to meet Ginger and to eat at Paula's!If you bring moss home, put it in a plastic bag and seal it.When you get home, open the bag and spray insecticide inside and seal again for a few days-if you are planning to bring it inside-don't ask how I know you should do this! If you are going to put it in a tree outside I would still leave it in a bag until I got home.
How fun! My old stomping grounds. We lived there for 10 years. I really miss it. When we first moved there, Lady and Sons was not famous yet. That buffet was $5 per plate! Great food! If you have time, go to Two Smart Cookies on White Bluff (across from the Oglethorpe Mall.) Their cookies are to die for!
Oh how fun! I hope y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I used to live in Savannah! Looks like you are having a GREAT time...have fun!
It looks like you are having a great time! Enjoy!
How wonderful!! I'm SUPER jealous. wish I was there too. I've never eaten at Paula's restaurant but definitely plan to one day. My husband and I love Savannah! Hope you're having a wonderful time and soak up all that beauty there.
Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Debbie, What a great post. Bob and I had sooo much fun today. It was so special meeting you and your sweet family. I hope you had a great time on the ghost tour tonight. Have a safe trip home.
Hugs to all of you, Ginger
Savannah is heavenly! So glad you got to eat at Lady & Sons too. I'm sure you had lots of "butter" in that food. :-) Hey, you gotta take advantage of a good thing when you can.
Great that Ginger was able to meet up with you!

Sweet ladies, sounds a great day and the food's appealing. I'm drooling.
It is good to see a picture of the moss trees. I read a novel recently that mentioned these several times, and I hadn't a clue what they were. Now I know!
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh, how I love Savannah, especially the homes! Ya'll look like you are having a wonderful time.
Hope you and yours have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
Tell the boys they can't take the spanish moss home. If you look closely it kills the tree where there is a bunch of it. Looks like you had fun! Happy Thanks!
Great place to be... Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Debbie and a big Hello to your Mom
Debbie, what a fun trip! Hope you get a chance to take the bus tour to see the sites from the movie, "In The Garden Of Good And Evil". Also, the Catholic Church across the street from house in the movie is a must see. It's beyond gorgeous. http://www.savannahcathedral.org/
Now, I want to return!!!;)
Well, you're just down the road a piece from me! Welcome to Savannah. I hope you have a wonderful time. I think it's wonderful that you got to meet Ginger, the ultimate Savannah Granny.
The food looks just wonderful Deb, really makes me hungry, mashed potatoes are my downfall:)
You look so pretty with your mom and Ginger I'm glad you had a great time! I'd love to visit there someday!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Oh How wonderful you got to met Savannah Granny! and yes her sweet Bob :-)
That is a great picture of the three of you . You all look so pretty and happy:-)
I bet Savannah is so pretty at this time of the year. Aren't the houses beautiful?
Now I am thinking I need to make some macaroni and cheese. That looks yummy! Have fun in Savannah. I think the moss might not keep too well in Jack's suitcase.
The food looks amazingly delicious, and I'm glad you are having fun!
