Ok, first exciting news... do you like my new blog design?
Yesterday I hummed the tune from the Jefferson's all day!You all know it, "I'm movin' on up!.........
I know how cheesy of me. But I was so excited to finally have a professional give me a blog makeover.
It was very, very important to me to have it still feel like "me", personal, colorful, yet done by a real blog designer. Lord knows I have tried..but I just could not achieve the look I really wanted for my blog.
OK, so a big thank you to Kristin from simplyklassic. I put the poor girl through the mill.
Believe me when I tell you..I was a "control freak". She is patient and very kind, so I think she still likes me. The bottom line is I LOVE it. Kristin does fabulous work.

Even if you just want some tweaks here and there you can just have her do those as well. She is VERY reasonable to say the least. I am frugal as you have come to know, so I found her to be within my budget.
Now on to the next BIG news...yes there is more, although, I know my blog makeover is Huge, but I do have something even BIGGER.
A dear blogging friend of mine Cindy Adkins contacted me a few weeks back and asked me if I would approve to being in her new book! Say WHAT?, say WHO, say WHEN!
No brainer, of course I will. Cindy has written several best sellers recently on Amazon.com.

Especially, if you are a newbie, this read is for you. We all have a story, and you too will grow and learn from it.

Cindy is a sweetheart always willing to help others. I have two of her books. I'm not surprised at all she asked you to be part of her new one - she knows how to pick 'em! She did a giveaway a few months ago of one of my daughters items and that is how I met her (BBB-before Bliss Blogged).
New blog looks good, still you, only freshly showered with new highlights.
I'm a control freak too. Two of my kids are graphic designers and they won't touch me with a 10 foot pole when it comes to that stuff!

I'm in the same boat regarding my blog. I have had help but I have been contemplating getting it done professionally too. I love the border trim too!
