What is your favorite beauty tool?

Every once in a while you will find  a post on a product I love.
Most of us have one, whether it is in the beauty department, hair, skin or makeup.
I have been letting my hair grow again.
I think it is because my sis is getting married in the summer and I want to have a cute doo..get  it doo? HA!
You know what my latest greatest tool is?
My curling iron.
But as you can see, I am going for the 80's look again, and what better way to achieve that, than the handy dandy curling iron.

while I am at it I may as well share what I wore as well...

My $3.00 Goodwill designer shoes...I do not think these were ever worn. Heck, they may even be from the 80's and that is why someone was getting rid of them.

I think I am going for the Bohemian 80's look, was there such a thing back then?
I always did like the hippie'ish style too!

Back to the 80's feather cut.
Paisley top from Marshalls,
Vintage long necklace gift from FIL,
Shorter necklace gift from friend purchased at Kohl's
Bracelet lucky brand, gift from friend
Belt from Marshall's, just last week!

So anyhoot,
Do you have any special beauty tools you love?
Would love for you to share.
ie..eyelash curler, blush brushes, brush, curling irons..you get the gist.

You look great Debbie! I can't live without my eyelash curler and my fat blush brush. I wear mineral makeup and that brush is the best for applying it.

I would like to kiss the person who invented the keratin hair treatment! Months and months without frizzy hair! Also, my Gerber Teeny Faces Balm stick (they don't make it anymore, so I bought hundreds and I keep them in my vegetable drawer!) My Moroccan Oil and Aveda silicone spray...my Aveda paddle brush...all my Bobbi Brown makeup brushes...my Trish McEvoy eyeliner brush...hmmm. Oh! My Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner! And my Body Shop Cheek an Lip stain...that should do. LOL!
In the 80's it was Aqua Net...lots and lots of Aqua Net! LOL!
I love those clogs!

My flat iron! I spent years smoothing my wavy thick hair with a curling iron. I discovered the flat iron on a Mom's weekend when my daughter was in college. (It was also the fave tool of the her sorority house.) It's been the center of my hair universe for over 10 years now!

Your just the cutest, Debbie Doo!

You look so cute and hip! I'm sure all the boys in your house are proud of you. This is not a tool but my favorite beauty products are Cover Girl Outlast Lipcolor (no lip line color bleeding and it DOES last over 12 hours) and their Lash Blast mascara(in the orange tube and the new 24-hour).

You are darling. I loved eighties hair and still rock it when we go out sometimes. I think all of us from that time will always be fond of the bigger fuller hair of our youth. You look so pretty. I could not be without my blow dryer for sure.

Hi Debbie, I just love your blog and I miss 80's hair! Yours looks very pretty. Not sure if I have a favorite beauty tool, but I absolutely adore make up and unless I'm sick as a dog, there's not a day that goes by that I don't wear full make up!
Have a wonderful day!

Yay Debbie...way to bring back the feathered hair!!! You look adorable:)
I hate to even admit this but I can't live without Vaseline! And I mean the old school, plain petroleum stuff in the tub. I'm lost without it. I grab it from the medicine cabinet about 20 times a day for my lips and I slop it around my eyes every night.

You're so darn cute and you crack me up...if i had a beauty tool, it would be a good nights sleep...but I haven't had one in ten years, cause I always have a kid in my bed, or someone is sick, or they can't sleep, or they all get to sleep, then I can't sleep..cause I am probably peri-menopause...anyhoo, thank God for a pony-tail holder, right??

That color is gorgeous on you! And those shoes, now, they are just too cool!

My hair pick is my beauty "secret" that has come into the forefront for me. Since a few months after our daughter was born, I started to notice wave in my hair for the first time in my life. I can no longer use a brush in my hair, or I have a fuzz ball, lol! While my hair is wet, I use the pick in it, and let it dry "oh naturel". That gives me the wave.

Now, how boring is my beauty secret?!

This was one of those posts where I also had to read every reply above mine. A girls gotta know what tools and products she might be missing! From the sound of it, I am heading over to Andie's house because she has a surplus of all things she loves.

I won't even comment on feathered hair Farrah.

I love that blue color on you! I've been flat ironing it lately (although it's killing my hair). I saw that on the Today show they were showing how to use different curling irons and the girl mentioned one that was $150.00. Never hear of Walmart, I guess.

Pretty outfit! You really do pull it all together well. Those are some of my favorite shades of blue and I love the layered necklace look. I guess my most favorite beauty tool would also be my curling iron. I could live w/out the blow dryer if I had too but only if I knew I had the curling iron. My hair is a longer layered cut so I switch from curling under to curling up each day depending on how I am feeling that day! LOL!

You are rockin the casba with that look. I adore Bare Escentuals mineral make up and have found none like it any where. I do not own a curling iron but am a fan of mousse and paste. I have more Lucky Brand jewelry than I should admit. It is one of the few items that I buy new and not vintage.
