New way to plant your garden seeds.. Exciting!

Spring is in the air. It's time to start planting those seeds right?
Did my title catch your eye?
Hope so, but sorry to tell you, you are not going to find out how to plant your garden seeds here.
Well, well, I don't plant any garden seeds.
Do you?
I did however, love these garden veggie, flower  packet seeds
I spied at the dollar tree the other day for 25 cents a piece.
The colors just looked so happy on the package.

I thought, hmmm...while I am waiting patiently for our yard to start greening up, how about some color in the kitchen window.

I placed some Spring foam stickers over the price tag, I thought if I left the price tag exposed it would look kind of tacky.
And I am full of tack you KNOW!

I stuck a little pack in the ivy too.

How is that for $1.75 window pick me up?
Starting to look like Spring around here!

All I did was hot glue a strand of twine.  I already had small nails on each side of my window sill from back at Christmas time when I did the holiday copy cat challenge.
No biggie to remove the nails and calk it up.

I have been working on my teenagers room all day today. What a job...YIKES,the things we find under the bed!
I think he is going to be pretty happy though when he comes home from school today.
This job was prompted by his request.  He felt he had  a little kiddish room.
Sneak peek for ya!

I'll look forward to seeing that room redo, Debbie! I remember when my son wanted to redo his room. I guess it was around the time he started high school. He had very specific ideas about what he wanted and, luckily, we were in agreement!

Cute! I've not done seeds in a long time but I'm going to this year. Plants around here were terribly expensive last season and I've gotta have flowers...and herbs! :-)

Can't wait to see the reveal of Alex's room!

Your little banner is adorable and so Spring-y!!! Love it:)

I re-did my oldest son's room once when he was at school but didn't tell him...I think he was about 15. I did it all Asian inspired and he was so excited when he got home, he said "Wow mom, this feels like a new life" LOL.

That's really cute! Where do you come up with all these ideas!! You must go to sleep at night and have your mind spinning even while sleeping! I've tried to grow plants from seed but they always get going too fast, get leggy and look terrible real quick! I just go the garden center and pick up their healthier plants from the experts!
