Hot fun in the SummerTime! Easy stencil project...

This party is hopping and I want in!~
If you are a reader of my blog, you may recall this stencil project some time back
that I did on paper, then framed it for some easy, cheap kitchen  art.
What I kept in mind while doing this project, is that I could and would change it out, whenever I grew tired of it.
I had some red burlap on hand, stencil paint, stencils, and a little creative thought today.
First let me show you the original...

This project still til this day receives a lot of views. I am hoping someone copied it, and if you did, or want to, please do show us!
Now onto today's project...

My older boy requested green apples the other day.  I have not seen him eat one yet.

I know the letters are off and random. That is the way I wanted it, as I am not a perfecto decorator, so why try is my theory, just make it look that way!

Now doesn't that make for a pretty summer vignette? Done in few minutes time.

 Have a great evening everyone.
Thursday is the last day of school here for my boys.
That means less blogging and more Mom and son's time.
In one sense I am very excited about that, however in the other sense, I will miss blogging on  a daily basis.
You get so used to your own routine day after day.
I will still of course be around, just not as much.
NEWBIE party will go on and is STILL going on

We are the World, we are the children....

I love busting my posts into songs...makes me happy!!~
So I have seen some of these globe projects around here in the blogosphere.
I thought that is so cute.
I have seen them chalkboard the globe, and outline some states.
I thought I would put a Debbiedoo's special on it.
SO that I did...

What I did after I sprayed the chalkboard spray. Let it dry, then I added some scrap book stickers, cut out some pictures of my boys that I printed out, and mod podged the entire globe.
I then  took my chalk and outlined randomly....I think it's pretty cool!!~
and so do they:) They have their own customized art on a globe.
In the meantime I found some cool knobs at World Market, so I changed those out too on this
little nightstand that I recently painted and stenciled.

Still a chance HERE for that pretty necklace

"Come on get happy"!

"Hello World there's a song that I'm singing, come on get happy"! (name that tune) tell me at the end of the post who sings it!
I have had this pretty wood and metal cross for sometime now.  A friend gave it to me, as she thought she had no place to put it in her house. That was until she saw what I did and where I put it.
Then she thought perhaps she made a mistake giving it away!
It has was painted black around Fall and Halloween time.  It certainly need a spring makeover.
A bit blahhhhhzaaaa I would say!
Looking like a bit of sunshine around here!
More fun Spring changes to come. Stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by, hope you had a dose of inspiration today to add some fun happy color to your world!

Stencil project

I am no Picasso here!
But I can stencil!
This was a fun, easy and a cheap project.
First, trip to Hobby Lobby, I bought a bunch of crafting supplies that day.

I actually painted the paper a rustic gold color. Once dry I lightly sand papered it.

I then stenciled with the cute recipe, this came as a sheet with this recipe.
As you can see I also painted the wood, with red and green and then sanded the frame as well.
