Move over MartHa, theres a new Kid in towN!~

I am so loving this time of year! Spring and Fall are my two favorite seasons....
Today I decided to do something special for my boys.
Jack was the first to see it, of course the first to dig in the jelly beans too.
He loved it!!~ He was so excited over the wind up chick.
I will make some strawberry shortcake for dessert and they can sit at their special place and enjoy!~ Happy Spring to you all.

Look a new apron!

Getting ready for some burger salad eating!

Love the apron and the new Easter decor. I'll have to try some in my kitchen. I love that you did it for your boys. My girls would love it too. I understand all about your comment at the museum. My girls are almost 7 and 4 and some times I try to take them in like I could keep them this age forever. It's hard being a momma! Some parents can't wait for their kids to grow up and move off. NOT ME!! I love finding other people who feel like I do. :-)

That is quite a talent you have Deb. The artistic side of you. Gives a feeling of Easter.

I like the look and feel of your kitchen. It looks very cozy and inviting. And it's been a while since I've seen a design with the oven and microwave in the wall. That's a nice touch.

And is that a chalkboard behind the sink?

Yes Marty that is a chalkboard behind the sink. Kathryn I took tea light candles and removed the tin, then I gently placed it in the shell, easy peasy!

You have a lovely blog and a lovely family!!

I couldn't help but read down to your story about being a mom to boys - I felt the same way about my girl - she will be 20 in 2 days - but I just felt like I had to have a girl - and it has all worked out for the best - although to be honest - she is the most sportiest girl there is and I had to learn very quickly about all the things I said I didn't know about - ha! But, I wouldn't trade her for the world - just like you wouldn't your boys - I guess it just all works out!

Hope all this rambling makes sense - I still can't get over her being 20 - seems like yesterday I was bringing her home!

Hi Debbie! I am so pleased that you stopped by. I just completed my first year of blogging in December 2009 and I love it. It can be quite time consuming but it's been a real treat doing it!

Your Easter display on your island is so charming. I can just imagine how pleased your little guys must have been. I miss decorating for little ones. Even the grands are all grown now. (Not even I believe that!) :)

Tell your mother I said thank you so much for sending you by. Do I know her?
I think I will tag along with you and see what the new "Martha" has in store for us. Learning...always learning! :)
Hugs and love to you,
Mona
