What NOT to do with your pumpkins
OK, I totally suck at crafting. I really do! Somethings are better than others I must admit. However, this is not one of my better projects. Some you have not even seen the disasters, as I am appalled to put that out to you. You know, I have an image to withstand, and have you all brainwashed! After seeing my brave friend Marla post her hilarious pumpkin, I thought I would be brave enough to show you my disaster, that I in fact did the day before Marla!
I tried, but to be honest, I am sticking with my traditional ORANGE plain ole pumpkins.
Enjoy the laughter...and have a wonderful weekend.
Please do not laugh at me too hard....although, I can take it, and it is seriously worthy of a good laugh!
So Marla, if you think your pom poms, and fringe skirt were something to laugh about....I seriously think we should have a PATHETIC PUMPKIN party!
Hey and don't forget about my GARAGE SALEN PARTY GOING ON NOW

Oh I think they are fun. You used such imaginative things to create their faces. I don't even try to decorate them. Hugs, Marty
Oh Debbie! They aren't that bad! But they did give me a bit of a giggle. hehe Sorry you didn't see my glitter pumpkins until it was too late. But just think... you can tackle another craft project now! ;)

Girl I am cracking up but in a good way! Those are fun and funny! Goes along with your severed feet at the door. :)
I giggled a bit too when I saw them- but they are kind of adorable! :)
I think you and Marla need to start a contest! Actually, Lynn @ Happier Than a Pig in Mud is having a pumpkin parade and I think giving prizes. Be sure to enter you FABULOUSLY fun creations! We need more of this kind of perfection!
contest contest! Please?
I use Mr potatohead stuff so...I need inspiration.
Debbie, they are cute and very creative. I love the tree nose. I am laughing just a bit at the yarn hair ones though.
Ohhhhh...I think they are darling! You know, we have to make a few mistakes before we become really good at something. I can testify to that!! Now I have to check out Marla's blog!! ;-D
xoxo

your creativity is showing, big time.. too funny..
My kids would love those Debbie! Actually I think it would be a good craft idea for me to do with them. But, really you are preaching to the un-crafty choir here! :-)
Vanessa

Oh my gosh, that is too funny! Kids would definitely love them!
Debbie, I am laughing my head off at your pumpkins. They are awful, lol, just awful!! Thanks for making me feel better.
I just can't stop laughing!!!!!!
hehehe...they're not awful!!! They're funny....whacky, just like Halloween is suppose to be! Not too scarry....whacky!!
You are crafting Debbie. I do not try at all. I think they are full of whimsy and we all need some whimsy. ♥O
um, I like the upside down tree nose!
I LOVED the tree nose the very minute I saw it! It is sooooooooooooo cute!!! Deb, my darling, stick two buttons on the existing buttons for eyes and your pumpkins will look gorgeous! Or maybe, paint a little on those eye buttons. Retain them!!!!
Awww, they're not that bad. I kinda like the blue ones. Many years ago I saw pumpkins painted hot pink outside a chi chi boutique and thought they were crazily cool. Definitely memorable - just like yours!
It is certainly a small world - I knew you lived in SC, but didn't realize you were so close in Tega Cay. Maybe we'll do a bloggy get-together someday. You, me, Pam, Donna, 3 Pixie Lane...
LOL! This must have been wacky pumpkin decorating week. OMG, you created an Adams Family cousin "IT" pumpkin! I am sorry that one is just so funny looking! I love it! I do appreciate the laugh! You and Marla are now the official honories of the "Pumpkin Follies"! ROFL! Love ya both! :)
well, i think those pumpkins are
mighty crafty!
i am a serious non-crafter and
think you are amazing.
so there.
Debbie,
Listen, I bet the kids love them and did you have fun making them....embrace the funky pumpkin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Halloween is all about the weir and unusual and scary and spooky...I painted one white and then added glitter, well, the glitter did not stick! It was a splotchy albino mess...I still put it out behind some others! HA! I think they are cute!!
Hugs,
Olivia
Dearest Debbie,
Those pumpkins are not a disaster; they are truly ingenious and very artistic!
Sunny greetings from the Heart of Georgia,

LOL Debbie! And I love the party idea...we always hide the things we aren't happy with!
LOL Debbie those pumpkins are hilarious!!!! i think they are fun!!!
Oh lord, I have done worse than that! I will post my next disaster, i wish I had taken a picture of my first mosaic project.....just before I thru it in the garbage.
Carol
I laughed out loud. The man and I went away sans kids today, and on the way home I was talking about you. To further my point, I showed him what I meant by showing him the pumpkins. I said that you are you, and you are not afraid to be you. You can laugh at yourself and you are terrific. I have one question... Are you out of that blue paint yet? LOL! Love them Debbie, I really and truly do!
Cute! Thanks for the smile tonight :)
hey, at least no one can say you aren't creative, right?
I'm sure glad my wife is not the only ugly pumpkin maker. It takes all kinds of pumpkins to make the world go around.
You and Marla win the festive pumpkin awards.
Steve (Marla's Husband)
OMGosh-Well, thank you for ratting yourself out today. I love it. It reminds of something you would see at a bad craft show. They rank right up there with those crocheted geraniums and Fancy Lady Sitting On A Roll of Toilet Paper covers that I have seen. lol
I suppose I should feel bad for laughing and agreeing with you but hey...what the heck are friends for? I have had some disasters too...but I don't think I have kept pictures of them....all the better for me and MY image! Hugs- Diana
What a crack up - the tree nose really got me!
That's too funny!!!
Debbie... step away from the fuzzy orange yarn and nobody gets hurt!! Ha!!!!! I think the face ones are pretty original, but what are we going to do with you and the fuzzy yarn! I can just see the boys now wearing their fuzzy yarn hats to school!!! :-)
Okay this was the best laugh I have had all week long! Thank you!!!!!
Love it !! Those are the cutest, funniest pumpkins ever. Display them loud and proud, girl! -Becca
LOL Love that blue one with the hair...too funny! :)
Aww, I think they're cute!! :)
Y'all are too funny. I think that the ugly pumpkin party would give everyone a laugh. LOL!
Oh, Debbie, now there is always something fun about being creative and having new ideas. I think they are super funky.
Debbie, I am glad to see that I am not the only one! I have my share of 'what was I thinking" projects. Actually the pumpkins are rather cute...in a strange kind of way! LOL
Hugs, Sherry
Not that bad at all. At least you had fund with it.
Not bad at all, Debbie!! I think they're kind of cute. :)
I think they are adorable! It looks as though a lot of creativity was put into making those pumpkins...you should be proud! ;o)
