What NOT to do with your pumpkins

OK, I totally suck at crafting. I really do! Somethings are better than others I must admit. However, this is not one of my better projects. Some you have not even seen the disasters, as I am appalled to put that out to you. You know, I have an image to withstand, and have you all brainwashed!  After seeing my brave friend Marla post her hilarious pumpkin, I thought I would be brave enough to show you my disaster, that I in fact did the day before Marla!
I tried, but to be honest, I am sticking with my traditional ORANGE plain ole pumpkins.
Enjoy the laughter...and have a wonderful weekend.
Please do not laugh at me too hard....although, I can take it, and it is seriously worthy of a good laugh!
So Marla, if you think your pom poms, and fringe skirt were something to laugh about....I seriously think we should have a PATHETIC PUMPKIN party!

Hey and don't forget about my GARAGE SALEN PARTY GOING ON NOW

Oh I think they are fun. You used such imaginative things to create their faces. I don't even try to decorate them. Hugs, Marty

I LOVED the tree nose the very minute I saw it! It is sooooooooooooo cute!!! Deb, my darling, stick two buttons on the existing buttons for eyes and your pumpkins will look gorgeous! Or maybe, paint a little on those eye buttons. Retain them!!!!

Awww, they're not that bad. I kinda like the blue ones. Many years ago I saw pumpkins painted hot pink outside a chi chi boutique and thought they were crazily cool. Definitely memorable - just like yours!

It is certainly a small world - I knew you lived in SC, but didn't realize you were so close in Tega Cay. Maybe we'll do a bloggy get-together someday. You, me, Pam, Donna, 3 Pixie Lane...

Debbie,
Listen, I bet the kids love them and did you have fun making them....embrace the funky pumpkin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Halloween is all about the weir and unusual and scary and spooky...I painted one white and then added glitter, well, the glitter did not stick! It was a splotchy albino mess...I still put it out behind some others! HA! I think they are cute!!

Olivia

I laughed out loud. The man and I went away sans kids today, and on the way home I was talking about you. To further my point, I showed him what I meant by showing him the pumpkins. I said that you are you, and you are not afraid to be you. You can laugh at yourself and you are terrific. I have one question... Are you out of that blue paint yet? LOL! Love them Debbie, I really and truly do!

You and Marla win the festive pumpkin awards.

OMGosh-Well, thank you for ratting yourself out today. I love it. It reminds of something you would see at a bad craft show. They rank right up there with those crocheted geraniums and Fancy Lady Sitting On A Roll of Toilet Paper covers that I have seen. lol

I suppose I should feel bad for laughing and agreeing with you but hey...what the heck are friends for? I have had some disasters too...but I don't think I have kept pictures of them....all the better for me and MY image! Hugs- Diana
