Hot fun in the SummerTime! Easy stencil project...
This party is hopping and I want in!~
If you are a reader of my blog, you may recall this stencil project some time back
What I kept in mind while doing this project, is that I could and would change it out, whenever I grew tired of it.
My older boy requested green apples the other day. I have not seen him eat one yet. |
I know the letters are off and random. That is the way I wanted it, as I am not a perfecto decorator, so why try is my theory, just make it look that way! |
Now doesn't that make for a pretty summer vignette? Done in few minutes time. |

I love that the burlap is red! It looks fantastic with the other red in your kitchen. Very cute!!!
That is very cute on the red burlap. Thanks for joining my party!!
It's perfect. I love that you made it in your own inimitable style.:-)
LOVE that red burlap. The apples sure look pretty even if he's not eating them (maybe he doesn't want to mess up your pretty arrangement). ;)
You're going to have a great summer with the son. I think a lot of bloggers are taking time off to enjoy all this sunshine. I think your canvas sign is so cute. Have a great day.
You make everything in your home special! Enjoy your week, sweet friend! ♥
Super cute, Debbie! Enjoy the summer vacation.

Sherry

I love your summer vignette... everything looks so summery and vibrant! The red burlap with stencil frame looks perfect in your vignette and I love your blue bottles on the window sill with red flowers in it. Lovely post! Dropping in from DIY by Design. Have a great week!~Poppy

Very fun for summer, Debbie! I do love the previous way, as well, especially with the wooden spoons resting against the frame. Enjoy spending some time with your son ~ in the years to come you will be glad you did!
HI Debbie Dear! You're so good! I love those little utensils too!
Your corner sink area is so pretty! You're going to go see Kimmie! Oh, how much fun y'all are going to have. I've just watched your video and was just grinning all the way through it.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Debbie,
What kind of paint did you use on the burlap? I love that the letters are not even. It looks perfect to me!!!
Thanks,
Dee

Now, that is a cute idea! I'd never even seen the original one before. I might hafta "borrow" this idea. :-)

I love it Deb...very colorful and summery! Love the three blue vases too...cute cute!!
Looks great, Debbie! Enjoy your son-time!
That is just darling Debbie and it helps kick the summer off for sure! My son was done with school last week so we are easing into our new schedule and it definitely is throwing me off a bit with computer/blogging time. But I LOVE getting more Ian and mommy time for sure! :-)

So cute! Love the red burlap!
First one of your cutest vignettes yet. Second... you get to meet KIM! I just read on her blog. You two are so lucky and I am so jealous.
So cute Deb. Have fun with Kim!
xoxo,
Kim
I loved the original & now I love this one too! The colors really pop. The red burlap was a great choice. It goes so well in your kitchen with the roosters...a perfect vignette!
Love the new sign! The red looks terrific in your kitchen! Too funny about the apples. My boys do that to - make a special request and then summarily ignore it when it's filled. I've already started dialing back on daily blogging, because of summer nearing. Glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing.
I'm liking your kitchen art.
I did try to follow but it didn't go through for some reason or other. Anyway, all sorted now and am an official follower :)

I love it and you could do so many things with it for the different seasons. As for those apples, they look great in the bowl even if he doesn't eat them.
Hmm I don't see my comment so if it doesn't show up, I love it.
Debbie,
How perfect for a summer accent! Love the red burlap, perfection is not always "perfect"! I really like that it is changeable. Goes
"perfectly" in your kitchen!
Thanks for having such great parties!
Rebecca
I love it! The red burlap is so pretty stenciled! It's Hot, that's for sure!
