Something borrowed, something blue, some more chalk paint projects for you!

If you have been reading my blog long enough, you have figured out,
I am a big fan of blue. Pretty much every shade of it!
In our kitchen I just have a splash here, and a dash there.
I like to keep the flow going from room to room.
Let me show you my splash and my dash first...
Pottery set given by my FIL

Rooster pitcher matching the platter behind the stove given by my Mom for my Birthday this year!

Dollar tree vases

Cobalt blue platter bought at Target a few years ago

Deco Soup Tureen, my Mom scored for us!

Cook book stand, bought also at Target way back when. Old cook book from the early 1900's, Some really neat recipes. Oh and my new vintage cheese grater I scored for 25 cents.
You all remember these stools I decided to makeover in the Winter time right?
You may also remember these stools I purchased from CSN from a giveaway
well....I just had to try this color blue out.
So I decided to redo the CSN stools. I of course made my own feed sack. This is temporary, as I do have some actual vintage feed sacks coming from my FIL. That guy has everything imaginable in his basement.  Well he did, until he started giving it to us.
Such a pretty shade of blue. I think it all ties in now.
The boys of course noticed first thing.  They thought they were pretty cool!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Hope I inspired you with some color!
Quick tutorial to follow soon.
Mike is off starting tomorrow.
It is our 16 year wedding Anniversary and we will be celebrating tomorrow night, hopefully all weekend, at least that is my plan!

Very, very nice Debbie! Loving that blue you painted them and you are right that blue in the kitchen just sets it off and it all just ties in so nicely like they were made to go in there. I love blue also, I think it is my favorite color besides gray. I tend to have splashes of red here and there with some grays and blue.
