Looks great Debbie! Painting accessories is so much easier than painting furniture! Love the changes!
love that paint, can't get it here. only chalkboard paint... have to make a trip to ny.
I like your changes! And the tray is cute!
The blue and white look great together- very fresh and summery! It's the "power of paint"! I agree- what is it about men and wood?!!
It looks great, I've been spray painting a few things, but I need to use my chalk paint too! Love the summer look!

Love the new fresh summer colors. I have been painting with chalk paint today, too. Nothing is finished though.
They are both great renos!! It changes their look dramatically. Love them both!
So what is it about guys and their WOOD...never mind, I won't go there...giggling myself silly.
The new summer colors looks great Debbie! I have lots of painting to do but it will have to wait now until after the wedding in July.
Have a wonderful day,
Gail
Looks great! Just that small change really lightened up the room. Seriously though, what is it with men and not liking wood painted?!
It really lighten up the tabletop. I love the finish and colors....Christine
Debbie, love the changes, Mike would die if he came home and seen the Entertainment Center painted, I would love to see that face.... LOL
Pattie
Great colors for the summer months Debbie! When do you find the time to do everything you do????
I LOVE the blue and white!
Great job!!!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Looks all fresh and cool now. I never think to paint my metal stuff. Good idea, that bowl looks great distressed a little. Will Mike notice though? My husband goes weeks before he notices that I changed something.
Awesome changes, Debbie. You are such a clever lady!
Yes Pam, Mike already did notice it, and he liked it. Pattie, he would kill me if I ever touched that entertainment center...I would have to move in with you:)
Debbie I LOVE your changes!! And I LOVE that metal bowl! Paint brightens everything right up. Martina
Nice transformation! What's old is new again.
Like the changes ! Everyone says - Oh - it is just paint. My problem I don't like to paint. :-D I have not made any real changes around my place in a while now - need to get motivated.
Enjoy your evening.
Great job, Debbie !! Isn't it fun how a small change can make a big impact ?!
You know me, I am all for light colors so I loves it!!
Carol
Very nice, Debbie...I love the colors and it really makes your room Summer Ready!
XO,
Jane
haha...you are a painting diva! That is good that you left some of your hubby's favorite wood pieces and still get a great change by painting those accessories :o) The "new" blue redo on the tray is pretty, but I do aslo like those multi colored slats in the tray.
Blessings & Aloha!
Those changes really brightened the space! It looks great Debbie, love the colors.
I love to lighten things up for summer and the color blue keeps coming up in lots of blogs! I love this pretty shade of blue in your tray! ♥
I have been wanting to try Chalk Paint for a while now and today I stopped in at the only place I can find that carries it. They were closed with nothing posted on the door regarding their hours or anything. Grrrr..... guess I'll have to wait a little while longer. Your changes look amazing. Hope I don't have to wait too long to make some changes around here!
I love the differences your chalk paint has made. The moss ball looks so much more vibrant in your urn and the tray really POPS on your table.
So Summer Ready. I love it!
Dee
The light & bright is fabulous. I love, love, love that bowl!
What is it with men & wood anyway?
I say bring on the paint! What's with guys and wood? Is it a genetic thing? Even if the wood is ugly they can't bare to see if covered. I love the chalkpaint too, I just finished a few pieces and am looking around to see what else I can use it on!
You were right huge difference! They make the table look so much brighter.
My hubby has that same thing for wood. Makes me CRAZY. What's wrong with a little paint I say.
Love the new look. So cool and refreshing. I think paint always works wonders on anything. Gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
Definitely like the lighter and brighter color choice for summer and you can change it again come winter with more paint. Great update:)
It's looking like summer at your house! So..did he even notice? LOL...and what the heck is it about guys and painting wood? Drives me nuts! xo Diana
Fabulous changes Debbie! I was trying to lighten and brighten today too and you just gave me some more inspiration! :-)
Vanessa

I've been changing things to lighter and airier myself, Debbie. Not that I compare my undertakings to yours. No way. You reign supreme. :)
Good morning, Debbie! I am getting caught-up on your blog. It looks like y'all had a blast in Atlanta visiting friends *and* you got to meet Kim!!! :D I love it when you share little projects like this with us. Very cool!
(((hugs))),
Ricki Jill
Love the changes! Definitely a great way to lighten up for summer. They both look terrific! Thanks for sharing.
Loving the new summery blue and white colors on your accessories... paint works like magic, doesn't it? It transforms everything beautifully! Loved yours and Kim's picture in the previous post.. both of you looked gorgeous! Have a nice day!~Poppy

Loving how some small changes make a huge difference! Love the bowl in cream - really show the moss off well. I love Turquoise and that tray is perfect! By the way, is that more of your Duck Egg Blue or something else? Beautiful!
Love the new colors! Paint is such an easy and inexpensive way to change out accessories! XO, Pinky
Wow! What a change. I love the new summer colors.
That paint really brightened your accesories up!It looks great.
Why haven't I thought of this? I think I need to take one day and decide to not work on a single project but spend the day really looking at the house and see what needs to be and can be 'refreshed' for summer . . . before summer is OVER!
Hi Debbie,
I love the paint on your pretty bowl, you did a great job! Your home is always so warm and inviting. =) XOXO ~Liz
Beautiful summer colours..fresh and pretty! Loved the tray:)
Hi Deb- It's always nice to make things look more summery and fresh- this does the trick very well! I have finally found chalk paint locally and will be picking it up on Monday. Have a project in mind- hope I can find the time to start it! LOL
Fun trip with your gal pal- funny trying to get a good family pic. I am the one who always ruins ours. I am not photogenic, at all. Fake smile, weird eyes, fat cheeks, saggy neck, bad hair.... I could go on and on!
Stay cool- it's hot and humid here! Where did spring go? Or did we even have one?
:-) Sue
Debbie love the fresh new looks. I had no idea you could paint something like that w/ chalk paint.. great ideas and great looks as usual.
Love the summery look. It is great how a little paint can freshen a few accessories and give you a new look.
Love the look of your tray covered in chalk paint~ that color is fantastic too. Thanks for sharing at my party :)
