Burlap projects cont.....

My last post was all about decorating with burlap.
I recently did our bar stools over, and thought I would continue with another small project.  I would like to tell you it was fast and easy, however I would be lying.
This project popped into my head when I woke up this morning.
I love doing lampshades as you can see from some past posts, HERE, HERE, and HERE...
Thought I would break out the mod podge..and get started.

First I cut my rice bags to size the lamp shade.
I knew this would NOT be a perfect project, because if you know me, they never are perfect..bad on perfect, no perfectionist here.
Jack saw this project drying (dripping in the sink) He said Oh Mom that is pretty cool!
Project is still wet, could not wait to take pictures....another bad trait, NOT patient at all.
I used some upholstery tacks just for a touch of embellishment.
At the end of the day, and yes I say end of the day, because I think this project took me all day, I am pretty happy with it.  I will see what Mike thinks when He gets home from work.
Speaking of work, I am still a scentsy rep and would love for you to check out my site.
Scentsy is a wickless burner, which means NO FLAME, NO FIRE!
With such beautiful scents and burners to choose from, it certainly is a great accessory to any home.
Some of my blogging friends are coming up for some new scents...

Of course, you have a few project swirling around in that head. I'm not at all surprised. Of course, I'm up for another copy cat. In fact, I think I might already have my picture picked out. Guess you will have to wait. I'm not really bored, except for the fact about not really having anything to post today. I'm trying to keep myself busy as I have my long over due Physical at the docs on Wednesday. Got any overnight fixes? I think I'm going to be in trouble...eeeeks...giggle...

LOVE the lampshade Debbie!!

I've been working on a couple lampshades recently. They are taking forever too. And it would have been nice if I had made sure the shade was the right size for the lamps BEFORE I started them. Why do I do that kind of stuff! LOL
