Good ole' fashioned wood picnic table!
I had a few inquiries on this table, and I realized I never have shown it nor talked about it!
BLOG OP!
You can paint it an old white color, distress it, I think it would be really neat!
As you can see it comes Natural, with a few nuts and bolts to skrew in....
We loved the colored stain so much with our chairs, we decided to do the table a stain versus painting as well.
Good product here, I would highly recommend!
There are lots of colors to choose from as well. As you can see we chose Blue.
I was really set on bringing the indoors out, and wanted our backyard area to feel like an extension of our home, cozy, and colorful!
These Tiki's are really neat. I purchased them at Walmart and they give a wider flame to appear like a real Tiki torch.
I can change up little vignettes outside as well. Believe me the neighbors think I am so strange...
they always slow down and ask what am I doing now, I have seen some even shake their heads...
Quite frankly, I am having fun!
I know you must be dying to see the other side here behind the picnic table..
FINALLY complete!
I will be showing you on Monday for the Newbie party.
Have a great day.
Still time to get in on the magazine copy cat challenge
HERE
May be a small party as a I expected but I will tell you it is hopping with views and interaction.
THANK YOU!
XOXO

I LOVE your picnic table. I have really great memories at my nanny's house in the country. We always ate out on the picnic table..and colored everything. LOVE IT! Reagan has a mini picnic table but it only fits her.
I think I may invest in one for all of us. It reminds me of going camping too!
I too love a good old fashioned picnic table! We have one in the grove, right next to the chicken coop, underneath the shade of two orange trees. We spend many an afternoon out there, talking to the chickens, doing crafts, reading. Playing games. Sometimes we take our morning coffee out there on the weekend. Waiting for it to cool off for that! LOVE yours!!! Great look, and as I have said before...hubby and I are DYING to see your pizza oven. We want to put one it too!
Love the table, scape and all your outdoor space improvements. Everything looks fantastic. I sure do love that sunflower!
I love the color of the picnic table. Everything looks really good!
I love a picnic table too. We have two of them for this overblown family! Love the color you painted it! xo Diana
Love the picnic table. I fully intended to get in on the copycat party. Plumbing issues came up and I am playing "Sewerella".
Don't think I will get the copycat finished in time. I will post is later though.
Love ya girl, Ginger
You're right nothing beats a good ole' fashioned picnic table. Your space looks great:)
LOVE IT!! Debbie it looks absolutely fantastic and I agree that there is nothing like a good ole' fashioned picnic table. :-) I cannot wait to see the pizza oven too!

My Gramma had a real live picnic table too =) I remember we would pick fresh strawberries and I would line them up and count them out. (I probably snuck a few too...) Your backyard space is so nice and I bet you are all thrilled to get your pizza oven done.
I love your pretty picnic table.
I like it stained MUCH better than painted and it will stay pretty longer.
I know you think your Copy party was small but it is growing...it always takes awhile to get things started. I hope you will give it a good chance to get going ....more and more will join the fun...I just know it. :))

That looks great, Debbie. I just love the whole outside area. Our backyard has just become a wasted unused weedy mess.
I love your picnic table and the lovely garden it's set in. I was aiming to take part in Magazine Copy Cat, but it just didn't happen. Next time I'll get my act together. I look forward to seeing the entries.
Picnic tables are great places to make memories. We had one in our backyard when the kids were small. Lots of parties were there, lots of cookouts with friends, etc. I know you'll enjoy yours for years to come.
Love the picnic table!! Sometimes you just need the tried and true.
I have come across a lot of the copy cat posts and they are GOOD!! I am really hoping to join next month...I'm looking through my magazines now!!
XO,
Jane
Yes! I noticed your picnic table in that last post. It's beautiful. We have one too. I stained mine (blue) last year, but I really love yours. Your table fits your home & style perfectly.
Love this picnic table!!
I would love to have you for a neighbour!!
Looking awesome! We love our wooden picnic table! The kids actually sat at it after school today to do their homework!

Hi Debbie, I just love this idea, thank you so much for telling us how you did it!
Who cares what the nosy neighbors think? Mine are the same way! I always give them something to talk about, that way it makes their life a bit more interesting LOL and us girls will do anything for the sake of the blog.
Have a great rest of the week!
Your yard is a lovely extension of your home. I enjoyed seeing all those who participated in the copycat challenge.
Great picnic table, Debbie! I can see you and your boys spending lots of time sitting at it this Fall and eating pizza from your fabulous pizza oven, which I can't wait to see! (Love the color you stained it with, too!) *Becca*
Love the picnic table. I think everyone has fond memories involving picnic tables. I used to love eating at them when I was a kid. I think it evokes memories of simpler times. Sorry I couldn't link up to your magazine challenge. I couldn't get my act together in time.
This is a gorgeous table, I just love the color you chose! I'm a new follower and am looking forward to joining your newbie link up on Mondays.
I had no idea you could purchase a picnic table so inexpensively. I love yours (the blue). You are a tease, though. I want to read all about your fire pit project! ;P
xoxoxoxo,

I love those tables, we all have them up here in Canada and you see them at every park along the transcanada highway, my dad made ours with logs, looks great Debbie, I love your sense of decorating, its stylish yet quirky,, expect the unexpected with you!!
I love picnic tables! I think they hold fond memories for many of us and how simple and smart of you to put one in your backyard!
I can't wait to see the full reveal, it looks amazing so far:)
I think your new back yard setting looks amazing! I'm jealous. Mine doesn't look too hot. It's a bit boring actually. I love your fireplace with chairs around it and feel the same way about a picnic table. I grew up in the 70's and seemed like that was what everyone had. They are so practical. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love your outdoor space!
Your picnic table looks very sweet in your beautiful backyard.
Dee
Your picnic table looks great! I like the stain. I may try that when I get around to revamping the backyard. I cannot wait to see the full view of your improved outdoor area. What I can see looks great!

Hi Debbie Dear! I love your picnic table! I love how your yard backs up to woods (it looks like woods)! Your pizza oven! Yay! I know your family is going to love it and that picnic table will be getting lots of use!
Be a sweetie,

I've been wanting a picnic table, too, due to high school memories. I'm thinking of putting mine on the deck. Love the color you've chosen for it, too. Really enjoyed your magazine copycat challenge.
That is looking so good you tease! You are going to be able to enjoy that crackling fire so much as the weather is finally supposed to do a big drop this weekend, hopefully! I cannot wait to see it finished. I love picnic tables too. My husband made one years ago that we sold with the house. I really miss that thing! As for the neighbors I get it too the funny looks especially when I have the camera out. LOL!
I love how you stained it Deb and the colors you used! Your right I think you could use the picnic table for in the home and it would certainly give it a farmhouse look!
I can't wait to see the piazza oven, I bet it looks fantastic!
Beautiful yard. Yes I'm wanting to see the rest! I agree with staining outside vs. paint. Your pictures turned out beautiful. Will be back to see the rest.
Love the picnic table Debbie! And the vignette possibilities are endless! lol

I would have never thought to stain it blue, but it works! I love those types of picnic tables. Remind me of being a kid. And splinters in my thighs.
Did I totally miss your new blog design. Adorable.
I love picnic tables too and yours looks terrific! Love the stain rather than paint too. I know what you mean about neighbors shaking their heads:):) I even had a guy yell at me to go inside, I was making all the men look bad:):) I was mowing at the time! Hope you are having a great weekend, Deb. XO, Pinky
I love what you did with your outdoor area. So inviting and beautiful!
