Quickie in the kitchen! {Country french}..NEWBIE party started!

First, many thanks for your engaging in my thought provoking question! Always nice to hear other's opinions and thoughts!
Now onto my quickie...
I found a picture in my archives from long long ago.
This is how my kitchen first looked when blogging...
bad camera as you can see.
See the spoon and fork there on the wall?

 Well, they needed a lift.
The new color I chose for the makeover was Annie Sloans Chalk paint, in Old white.
I painted, distressed them and hung them in a new place.

Here is a current snap of today's look in the kitchen...

These shots are just neat because of the shadows and the crows...

Excellent photos Debbie! My son and his girlfriend are home this weekend from Charleston. She is currently enrolled in college for photography. She came with her camera in hand because she has to get a shadow photo showing the light and darkness for her homework. I just showed her your picture and she said, "Awesome! That is just what I need." They really are great shots!

Love the new look! I have kicked myself for months because I found similar spoon/fork at my Goodwill for $1.50 each. I went back several times debating on them and third time was going to buy them and they were gone. :( Lesson learned! Again! Thanks for stopping in to say "hi". Life has been crazy here since school started back and I have had NO time to blog. Can't wait to get back to it when things slow down. As always, your room is GORGEOUS!! :)

As much as I love thrifting, sometimes I walk right past things that I later realize could have been something AWESOME! Last week, I walk past a large fork and spoon just like yours but hardly has lovely! I hate that I didn't buy it and turned it into something as cute as yours! ~sigh~

Debbie,

Oh how I love the oversized fork and spoon on your kitchen walls! Someday maybe I'll find something like that!

And I have to go check out the birthday cake with the elephant on top in #114 (I think) I'm an elephant fanatic and that looks too fun!!!

I've posted about my bright blue paint makeover for my "tween" bedroom chest that I've now moved into our dining room. It's amazing how paint and color can change a piece of furniture!

As always Debbie, thanks for hosting a great link up party.
