Love, Love, LOVE those mirrors/chalk frames! I also love the distressed dresser one of them is sitting on! You never surprise me!
Love it Debbie! It's having that eye for seeing the beauty in things and you sure have it. Trying to get my act together today so I can join the newbie party:)
Blessings,
~Marie
Hi Debbie,
What a great idea using stencils for the writing. I also have terrible handwriting. Fail that class!
So cute I love chalkboards!!
Very pretty Debbie. I have not so pretty writing too. Loved your bedroom in first pic!!! Love the puddled curtains on the floor by window!!
Have a great week kiddo!
Great transformation. I actually like it better as a chalk board:)
As a mirror .. That would have fit in in my daughters room perfectly, but I have to say it is adorable as a chalkboard!!!
Debbie, what a great idea to turn your mirror into a chalkboard!! It looks great...and what a lovely vignette you've created! Very pretty!
That is the sweetest thing! I love it as a chalkboard! Did you do the chalkboard paint right over the mirror?
Great idea! That idea would be great on a large mirror also so you could transform it into a message center in the kitchen.
Yes, I chalkboarded over the mirror...I bought the paint at Walmart.
Debbie - it looks great but is it my imagination or is it more round now and it looked oval on the wall. Did you cut it down too? You amaze me!!
I am on a chalkboard kick lately so I love the way it turned out! :)
Very cute idea Debbie and it was a great addition to your beautiful vignette! Martina
Cute project!
Great job Debbie, I love the stenciled, shaded on letters and hearts. : ).. My handwriting is ok, but it never turns out well on craft items either. Great solution!
Love it...great job!
Love the idea of the chalk board. Always fun to find a great buy at GW. ;-)
Love this makeover! Great idea to use stencils for the writing! Thanks for sharing.

No Tess...I did not cut it down, I just have it reversed on the side. Thank you!
It looks great as a chalkboard!!
Hi Debbie - Looks fabulous!! I love your kitchen nook. What a great place to have coffee and read the paper every morning. VERY homey.
I can't seem to get to the link party! I click on the "HERE" but it takes me back to the post...am I just missing something?
Debbie this is great, I just got a mirror from a friend and darn it I have to get that started after seeing how good yours is...well and everything else in that room, can't wait to see it all....and how sweet the roses...I just love that man of yours..lucky girl
Looks really great. I love that you used stencils.. don't see that as often.
O'Debbie I love it! Such a nice touch to your already romantic vignette.
Enjoy your day,
Gail
I think I am going to go look for an old mirror and do up a little chalk board number! What great ideas! You are so creative! Happy day to you!
Your mirror looks great as a chalk board. I love it and Goodwill!
Debbie
Debbie, It looks amazing!! Happy Monday.
The chalkboard looks good and how romantic of you to add the date and initials. I loved the glimpse into your bedroom as well.
What a special piece, and so sweet and romantic! Thanks for sharing, Debbie!

I love the mirror and the romantic chalkboard. That was genius to use stencil. Love it!

What a nice love note for you and your hubby to see each day. I like a chalk frame like this where the quote can be changed frequently and I'm probably one of the few bloggers who doesn't have one!
I love it as a chalk board. What a great idea. It looked pretty awesome before as well.
I love the mirror as a chalkboard. I think the sentiment on it is so sweet!

Two great ideas for this little mirror. Wonder if it will have another life down the road!

I just nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award. Details are on my blog.
I have a frame with my wedding invitation inside that I JUST CAN'T let go of. I have remade it 5 times. It's a part of me now.
I love your make over and why get rid of something that obviously is so dear and can be redone? You still amaze me with how much you do, I would be laying in a puddle exhausted!
~~Wendy
Deb,
Looks great!! Loving the make over!!
I like the stencil idea too. i have awful handwriting too. I think it was from all those years of having to write in patient's charts. Now we are computerized and I do not have to do all that writing!!
hugs,
Debbie
I love the ideas you have for picture frames. I would also need to use stencils btw!
Love mirrors! Love what you did with this one. With the chalkboard, you can write all kinds of romantic notes to Mike and vice-versa. :-)
