GoiNG Green
I wanted to share more outdoor area with you. And I see the party is about outdoor entertaining. I have an old post with some inspiration here, so why not share.
Up date on the Topsie Turveys...they are out of control...in other words, they really work if you are thinking about it...we have had three banana peppers already, we ate em, so I can't show you..they where delish!
View from Kitchen eating area....
SPRING TIME SHOT
I was so excited for Spring I could not wait to do a table scape.....but now I really look forward to being outdoors here.
View from our Bedroom
You remember my first Modge Podge project with the herbs right? Well I do not do well with herbs...they died about three weeks into it....so now I planted this ivy...doing well! Of course in between all this cleaning, led to a spray paint project. This little guy was screaming for color, he was begging me all day, finally I caved in...then along the way some little wooden birds became very jealous...so they got it too!
I have had this lucky guy for many years now...bought him in South Florida...I always liked him, but he was getting kinda boring!
Now he is talking proud!

Debbie,
I just love your deck in the shade. Boy, I wish we had shade. We use to until the trees had to come down from rotting. I love your deck railings. Don't go white. We did a few years back and they constantly turned black with mildew and had to be cleaned. I am sure my brown ones do too now, but a lot harder to see. I love your table and chairs. Love the new green color on your handsome rooster, too. What a nice place to hang out without roasting like a pig!
Don't ya just love decks? and I have the same exact rooster! It was a xmas gift.
Deck looks very serene in green. (hey, I'm a poet and don't know it)!
I love your table and chairs. I would love something similar to yours. I prefer chairs like these because it's the only ones that the cats don't leave mounds of hair all over. My cats always think they need to sit with us when we are on the deck, and grab a vacant chair. LOL! We had a huge oak where the lower deck is when we first moved in. It was beautiful and gave us plenty of shade and a huge allergy mess for me too! Also, I was always so worried in the event of a storm it would destroy our house. However, in this kind of weather, it sure would be nice to have the shade on the deck again! Love all your colorizing! It looks great. Nice photos of everything all greened up. Sorry didn't mean to write a book, but you have so much to comment on. :))
wow i was looking at the garage sale stuff and here you are with yet another post.Love the shade of green goes so well outdoors and the modpodge planter are for sure going to grow well outdoors .as always everything looks wonderful:)
Love your deck! Mine is pretty sunny and I think we need a new umbrella! Love the painted Roosters and birdies! So bright and beautiful.
I love your deck and your location! It looks great!
What a fabulous yard you have. The mature trees, the privacy, the VIEW. Unbelievable. Love your whole outdoor thing! Your love of roosters kills me.. I think I'm the same way lol.
What a wonderful summer you'll have out there.
Lisa
Debbie,
Your deck looks great! I love how you added color! I wish we had shade tree near our deck. We bake in the afternoon sun. Your rooster looks awesome in his new shade of green!
Hope you are having a fun weekend :)
Wendy
DEbbie,
Your deck looks great! I love all your painted roosters sitting around. Enjoy your area this summer. It is wonderful!
I just love that deck of yours and think I might be out there all the time...how can you get anything done inside with such a happy welcoming patio...oh I LOVE those candles around the umbrella stand, that is really, really cool.
I love your deck Debbie!! It kind of reminds me of mine (with the trees) but I need to work on cleaning of the cobwebs and leaves!! You've inspired me to clean it up and take some pix!!
All your pops of color are great.
Question about the topsy turvys..are they hanging from trees and if so, how do they get enough sun?
heather
I am on vacation and have missed everyone so, had to drop into my favorites! Of course you have a green rooster! Why not! Love your table pictures, you even cut a line for the water pitcher, it's all in the details. So, you have to tell us about that candle thingy around the umbrella pole, i have never seen that before! what a great place to hang out for the summer, now back to vacation!
Carol
If I didn't know better I would think we lived next door to each other. That is exactly what the rear of our home looks like. We are completely wooded, and I love it. I agree. All the green leaves makes it just heavenly. I love all your summer decor. Very nice.
giving you spray paint is like handing over a magic wand! fabulous revamps!
And I love love love the latern twinkle lights!
Absolutely Gorgeous!
I love all the bright colors on your deckm Debbie! That is a wonderful outdoor spot to enjoy.
OK, I'm headed out to finish fixing up my deck....you have inspired me.....seriously! Check my blog on Sunday or Monday! Oh, love that apple green rooster. I spray painted a chair that color yesterday. It'll be on the deck, too! Linda
Wow, your deck and the view is awesome! Loving what you've done to the rooster and birds, too cute!
It all looks so inviting...I'll be right over! I love the orange & green roosters.
Debbie, The deck looks great. Love the oak tree. Don't cut the limb. you will regret it. It is so lovely. I am sure there is an entire miniature world up in that tree. You sure have things all ready for the summer. I know you will enjoy it all. As for the paint. Maybe the railings but not the floor. We painted our decks and porches years ago and have to redo it so often. I wish we had left the floors natural. The peeling and scraping is not fun. We have tried everything including industrial coatings. Nothing stands up to the constant weathering. I love stopping by to see you. Have a great summer!! Hugs, Granny
I am in love with your green chicken! He is awesome!
How pretty! I love this time of year. I have a couple of those topsy turvys and haven't planted them yet, just now got my window boxes and door step planter finished, whew!
Those colors pop against the neutral deck and green trees. It's so pretty!
what a bright cheerful place to spend time.. I too wish I had your shade.. love the rooster~!
Hi Debbie,
Just found your blog via Funky Junk and I love it! Your use of color is my kinda decorating ~ it all looks so happy & vibrant. The deck area is awesome and oh my, that tree is to die for. I can only imagine how hard it will be to cut it back.
I'm new in the blogging world and have a lot to learn...I think you have a great deal to share! :-)
Brightest blessings,
Pat
I would love to spend time on that deck too. Just beautiful and relaxing.
Oh Debbie, I love your deck!!! What a beautiful spot to hang out with your family and friends. Love all the trees too! Your Topsy Turvy plants look amazing! I have had incredible success with those planters, but now that I have my garden I haven't used them the last couple of years.
Hope you are having a super weekend!!

Hey Debbie your so good with that spray paint and you always pick the prettiest colors!Love the color on Mr Rooster and those cute little birds.Your deck always looks great and your so lucky you have shade, ours gets full sun all afternoon until sunset, we had a retractable awning put in a few years ago and it's great at least know we can enjoy the deck. Have a great rest of the weekend!
Oh Debbie, I just love the black lighted laterns you have (half way?) around your deck. You must have beautiful deck parties out there I bet. You know your lawn furniture is great, but I also like that one small colorful planter with the ivy and other potted plants. That makes me know I have to get at least one or two decoupage or some kind of interesting print planter to make my porch pop and feel homey like that. It's the little things. I also have to look into getting some kind of lanterns just for show, since there's no way I'm getting an electrician to come out to put in lights. But I can get something that looks good. Anyway, this was fun and thanks for being so generous with your pictures. Your deck is fabulous!

What a beautiful deck! It was fun seeing the difference from spring to summer~ it will be fun seeing the fall view, too!
Oh, I love the yellow birds now! Looks beautiful!
The greens look great too!
Enjoy your Sunday, here! :)
You have quite a talent for decorating. Inside and out. Your deck looks like a perfect place to relax.
Lovely deck Debbie :D I so hear you on painting your deck white! Tell DH he will appreciate the fact that he will not have to "seal" the natural deck wood once he paints it white! My DH loved it after we painted our huge deck in our last house white...no only that...the deck matched the trim on the house and it made the brick siding "pop". Our realto said it was a big selling point when we sold two years ago...so maybe this will help persuade your DH...lol
Hi Debbie, your deck looks like it could be a tree fort - how peaceful it must be sitting out on the deck and having all the beautiful trees around you! Love all the colors you used on your accessories! ~Marcy
LOVE that yellow on the birds!
Great idea - love the colors you selected. Really brightens up the porch.
