Garage Salen Partay #8 Link up ready!

Another fantabulous week ladies for finds!!~ I know I have said it before but I am going to say it again! YOU all ROCK! I love this party, and I love to travel across America, never leave my comfy seat, and visit you all!  ( If I have ever not visited you, please let me know, as it was an oversight)  So thank you for participating and I can't wait too see what is in store for this week.  Now onto some features.  First up...my friend Bonnie.  I met Bonnie on RMS...we quickly became friends, as I only made nice ones:) I would also like to thank Bonnie for linking my party buttons with a code...she is awesome! Go check out her blog, she has lots of cool projects going on.
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM-BPpSOhQ3TctT9DvULtVsupxISMOJX4JRH6AB7YFYqA311CosOQ9BpKGKIBOBWqNd0yRFYvRFlDbNVyHETfzTPlI4C-UB2A60LZeHMZWF-gcpeSsEGuPlZuA5_MfWpoL3JKwUqoXWxY/s640/101_4063.jpg
I would love one of these old scales, very neat! Next up......my friend Victoria.  Apparently, I really do not remember, however, she does....I was her first blog follower. How neat is that.  She is a mom of 3 boys, and just the sweetest young woman. I am certain if we where to meet we would be instant buds and would have fun thrifting together.
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEipd1wQuW8kIWAnsH3P_9ulaO_knC4XOm07RCa4YVoTTfSzEIhZjRDOMGwokbLfWWaIllCaLFlievd_GU9jCcQjXttkO7O5vOo0pRqOLQf0_jpJeqp-C1UyhiBHpfFf3ODHZUsfpBzcU/s320/A+Cherub+002.jpg
This is something her MIL gave her, Victoria's style is shabby chic, so her MIL really knows what she likes.
And last but not least....my friend Sonny. Don't you just love this old tea cart? She scored it for $20.00 and I do believe she was planning on painting it.
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDSxt2ZMLuNEzRSMc4f0Ockxwn9MGNprUUH1OYRHp0a_sEJ_o5dE-GHsgDjwatPOwGHhY6XuupWigWTG8lFl9p-qMxa2IbelSjIi_G5rKMa9T3OZhe2fsHmzMjfLTInpXtpuX3J9m-UnGE/s640/side+down.jpg
Love all these gals, and so happy I have made a connection with them.
Now onto my scores this week.  My total of $2.00 inspired me to change up my kitchen.  Of course I have to say my first inspiration was my new colorful green rooster I had outside. He was getting too hot out there and begged me to come in...so I let him, and from there...the green with envy came into place.
$1.00 for this, and I decided to make it useful for my utensils, when cooking, or NOT!
Hey for another 1.00 I liked the colors.
Now you remember this guy below right?

Then he went to this color.....

He sure is grand, and I adore the color, so as I mentioned I brought him indoors..

I have to say, I am happy I kept all my roosters, because it seems no matter what, they are always a loyal friend to me and make me smile.

Whom ever is a non believer in the topsy turveys....I have had many peppers so far, still waiting on my tomatoes though.

More green for you! And that is how my $2.00 purchase made an entire kitchen color accessory change....AGAIN! That is the beauty of buying cheapo cute little accessories...you can change them up and have fun, and never feel guilty about putting them away...they always come back!

Now onto the party and a few other announcements. I have decided I will do a Before and After party. It will be held every other Wednesday beginning July 7th. SO get your thinking caps on...let's have fun and be creative, the sky is the limit here! You know the party rules by now. Please add my cute little button or link is fine.  I actually deleted posts last week, and I HATE that I had to..but that is party protocol:)
I am linking this post to a couple of parties

Wow I love these little finds! Have not been out salen yet, too much to do before my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary party at our home July 17th.
By the way, you mentioned you are following my blog but I don't see your smiling face in there with all the other little faces.
Hope the Oprah votes are still coming in...you should be the next host for the show...just sayin:) Can people vote more than once? I doubt they know who has already voted, so I'll just keep puching the little icon for you:)

Forgive me I'm still sort of new (March) to all the nuances of blogging and just didn't think to move forward on the pages. One of these days it will all be second nature to me I'm sure.

Wow, here's a thought...when you do get the Oprah gig, we can all say "we knew you when"...
Have a great 4th!

Ha, ha! I'd love to be on your show. How fun would that be? Could we do a road trip segment where we go into small towns and hit up junk stores? I would love to travel the country in an RV with my family hitting up junk stores, yard sales, and thrift stores all along the way while exploring all the nooks and crannies there are to see. Ahh, the life. :)

Hope you have a fabulous day,

I am so crazy about apple green all of a sudden, so naturally I love your rooster painted that color. All of your treasures are wonderful finds. Isn't it fun to change color schemes on a whim, and I so agree, when you shop garage sales or GW, it's so easy to do. The green in our kitchen is fabulous. Thanks so much for joining TTT.
