Good day, or evening depending where you are!
We are here today!
As I was hoping we would be,
because I have some unfinished business to take care of..not sure what it is, but I just know it is something.
Yesterday in the midst of our continuing clean up, I decided it was a good day for a little impromptu end of the world party. So I had Alex invite some his friends over for pizza and ping pong, and I also invited some of our friends over just for munchies and drinks.
FUN, FUN, FUN...those are always the best parties, the ones not planned.
I am just sharing some pictures of clean up, our anniversary, and my pretty roses.
I have not much creative to share with you these days...
I see a slow down in the future, which is fine, perhaps that will give me more time to actually be creative and come up with some fun stuff for you.
Newbie parties will continue throughout the summer...those are a MUST!
Date night for our Anniversary celebration.
It was so FANTASTIC! We went to Zinks in Charlotte, NC. Great meal, great conversation, and a lot of laughter.
Love you Mike! XO
Beautiful roses, I love this color.
The chips and guac dip looked so pretty next to the roses.
Mike working hard in the yard...
Jack helping Mike..I know Jack is in desperate need of a haircut..the boy loves his hair.
Did a little smores last night with the kids...
This is what it looked like in the morning...
And this is what it looked like by the afternoon.
We never did get to planting new trees yet.
Enjoy the Newbie party.

Hey girl! Happy Anniversary!!! I love the picture of the two of you! We had the impromptu at the neighbors Saturday night. Aren't those the best? You had a busy weekend and now it is time to rest!!! How much longer until the boys are out of school? Jem is out on Tuesday! Yay!!!!!
Fabulous picture of the two of you. Love your new haircut! Wonder what your stylist would do to your son's hair? He's adorable just the way he is!
The world still exists over here (Germany) too! :)
First of all, congrats on your anniversary.
Second, you look gorgeous with the new haircut!
Third, I would like to thank you for hosting the Newbie Parties! I have participated a lot of times, and have "met" so many interesting and inspiring individuals, it's amazing! Today I am taking part with my first DIY home decor post, nothing fancy like you or the other lovely ladies do, simple things, that brought a new air in our home this spring.
Well, that's from me, I wish you a happy start to the new week.
xoxo

Dropped by to say Hi! Just new we would all be here today. Sounds as if your end of the world party was a success!
Miss the Newbee party. Maybe since I was away moving my Mom and on vacation for about 2 months, I could get an extension. ;)
Debbie, I love your stained Adirondack chairs. I painted mine and wish I hadn't because your stained ones are pulling at my heart strings.
Happy Anniversary Debbie. It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.
You and your husband make such a striking couple. I give him kudos for getting you such pretty roses! (Red roses can be so trite!) And Jack's hair is fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like you had a busy weekend, too! The yard looks great! What a ton of work! Love the roses, and you and your husband are such a good-looking couple. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad someone threw a party yesterday! We ordered Thai for the end of the world. And isn't the way it turned out great?
Your woods look terrific. Makes me feel better because I have so much debris to haul. Jane
Thanks for doing something for the newbies! I linked and grabbed your button. Hope you can visit me.

Happy Anniversary! What a great picture of you and Mike! Looks like you had a wonderful time celebrating.
~XOXOXO~
PS: Those roses are to "DIE FOR!"
Great photos! You and Mike look adorable ~ and I'm so glad you had fun. "Dates" are so important I think ~ adult time that is so precious in a relationship. It's a great example to set for kids too. The roses are exqusite ~ love the color! Jack's hair is just as cute as yours...I don't blame him for not wanting it cut. :-) You guys did a wonderful job on the clean up. Have a great week my friend!
xo

Wait one gosh darn sec... how have I missed your fire pit all this time. Love it, love it, love it... I want one soooooooo bad, but don't really have the space without smokin' out the neighbors. Oh, that's right the neighbors smoke us out.
By the way, why get a haircut with you have fab hair like that.

What a great photo of you and Mike! Happy Anniversary to you...and many more! I love this party, too! I've met some of the sweetest ladies that have linked up! Thanks Deb! ♥
Happy anniversary and thanks for hosting the Newbie Party.
Keep the faith, Debbie! I know those comment confirmations drive you nuts, but hosting a newbie party probably means you get more than your share of people who haven't figured that out yet.....We new bloggers of the world appreciate your hosting parties just for us to get to know our blogging bros and sistas!
Hello Debbie,
Happy Belated Anniversary! What a lovely photo of you and Mike on your anniversary date night. Those are my favorite color roses also. I prefer roses in the yellow to salmon color range or white. No red roses for me!
I love your fire pit. What a great place to relax with family and friends.
I think Jack looks adorable! I remember when my boys went through the long hair phase. My oldest had hair longer than Jack's. It drove me nuts, but I was selective in what battles I chose and that was one I decided was not worth the battle.
~ Tracy
Awwww Happy belated Anniversary!! Relaxed and comfortable is the perfect way to go *winks* Vanna
Aw shucks! Missed the link party...oh well, next time. That's a good looking boy you got there! As a mom of a long haired boy myself, I LOVE the hair! Have a great summer :-)
