Decorating with Owls {rustic, nature, woods}

This season I really had a lot of fun decorating with Owls..... HERE, and HERE.
I love rustic, nature and wood, so what could be better?
Today I had a photo shoot with one very special little owl.
My friend Kat was hosting a giveaway, and I won.
Kat makes these little guys aside from other wonderful works of art.
Well Mr. Owl arrived today.

Can you spy him there on the tree?
He is adorable.

In fact, Mr. Doo's, ran right out to put a nail on the tree for me.
He likes him too!

He really is made so nicely, moss and all.
I do believe he is protected with some sealant on him...but even so, he should be able to take our Carolina weather.

Don't you just love when moss grows on trees?
...wish it were money instead, but hey, it's green!

Kat, thank you so much! Mr. Owl, has a great new home!
He is behind that little bench you see.
When we sit out there we can enjoy looking at him.
XO

We are at full peak here now...so sad to see it go.
One gust of good wind and say goodbye to Fall:(

Have a wonderful day!
I am off Christmas shopping today.
anyone else start yet?

He is too cute. You should name him! Ha! Your backyard is in full color now. Looks great. I noticed that around here this morning too. It's like everything just became more colorful overnight! We have some cooler wet weather today. You are so smart to go ahead and start your Christmas shopping now. The crowds won't get in your way and you won't be so stressed with everything else going on that normally does around Christmas. So, do you want me to go ahead and give you my sizes now? Just let me know when you're ready. Ha!!!

That owl is so cute and you've found the perfect perch for it. Your trees are gorgeous. I've lived on wooded lots all my life, and there's nothing prettier than fall trees. (The leaves are another story. hahaha)

Your owl is cute! He blends right in with the tree! Do you know they are supposed to scare away sea gulls? Lots of people have them here along their docks...plastic ones that slip over a deck support. HOWEVER- OUR sea gulls are either really stupid, or really smart, because we can look down and they are perched on TOP of the owl's head...yeah....

Our leaves are about 90% gone now...sad. No! I haven't started Christmas shopping yet-except for a Grisham book I picked up for MyHero. xo Diana

Very precious--in the first photo I thought it was a real one! My daughter had some real baby ones in her yard. I , too, am enjoying the fall colors. I live over near Myrtle Beach and the crepe myrtles are all in orange. The bradford pears are mostly red this year. It has been glorious for walking this week!

Mr. Owl is fabulous! Owls are really "IN" right now! Perfect spot for and your foliage is awesome. As I had said hundreds of time, I wish we had that color here.
I have been doing Christmas Shopping all year. So most is done. Our entire family has agreed to cut back this year. The economy has really hurt some of our family members.
Have a great shopping day, Blessings,
