Spring decorating! (diy,crafts,chalk paint projects}

Spring decorating ideas, craft projects, paint projects, diy
IS it just me? or does anyone else just about this time of year, start yearning for Spring?

I looked back in my archives and this little Spring in a can project was done February 15th! So yep I start getting the Spring fever just about now.

I took a little trip down Spring memory lane.
Want to see what more I was doing last year?

One of my first out door projects was this bench...

{Post here}
Not sure if I will be changing the color  again this year.  I am still loving it.

I started getting into a bit more stenciling...

Spring 2011, was also my first love affair with Annie Sloan chalk paint.

Now for 2012 Spring ideas....
I have nodda so far.  I best get crackin.
I did however, find some wonderful inspiration that I would love to share..

All looks so fresh and Spring like but as I look out my window at the snow falling, I think it will be a bit until I can get in the mood for Spring because Winter has finally arrived here in Northeast Pa.!

Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie, these are some great inspiration photos. I had Spring Fever all winter!! We've had unusually mild weather. Then, today it is freezing cold, with a chance of sleet and snow flurries tomorrow night. I give up!

Hard to think of spring here today. Very cold and windy after I was certainly thinking spring with all the warm weather we were having.

That bench was a great project, Debbie! Most of my Spring thinking right now is what I can plant in pots and around our condo. I don't have the yard and gardens I had in my old house here {which is okay with me}, as I tended more toward potting flowers in the last few years anyway. So, I'm the lookout for ideas for that.

Winter returned with all it's wind, cold, and snow yesterday. I guess Spring is on hold here in the northern part of Michigan...for a while anyway.
At least I can come over here and get inspired.
Enjoy your weekend, Debbie.

That inspiration vignette with the metal cans is beautiful; but, no, I'm not anxious for Spring, although the last few days have been in the 70's & the trees all all budding out. The reason I'm not ready is because of what will follow close on the heels of Spring -- SUMMER with its scorching heat! Oh well, things are a bloomin', so best enjoy it now!

Thanks for stopping by to see my latest vignettes. So glad you like the candles, me too!

Hmmm, I know I have seen some of those cans in my dad's garage. Although they might be gas cans, lol. I really like that idea, and of course all the others. Since we are apparently not having winter this year, I might as well go on into spring too!

Beautiful ideas, I loved the Spring in a can and your last pic of the floral centerpiece. I thought we were gonna get by with virtually no snow this winter here in central pa, but its coming down hard here now so I will have to simply enjoy your ideas.
Yes, spring fever is here.

I do love the color blue of your bench! Those are some great projects and inspiration. Usually I can't wait for spring, but we haven't had a big snow yet and it just doesn't feel right to move toward spring without at least going sledding once...and then bring on the sun :)

You have some really pretty spring things. I just adore those little pink flowers and mini daisies with the pink plaid table dressing.

I went thrifting last night and ended up filling my cart with front porch and back porch stuff only. I had no idea I was doing it until I went to check out. I guess a couple of porch makeovers are on the horizon for me. :)
